This Cat Cafe In Chinatown Has 10 Resident Felines & An All-You-Can-Eat Lok Lok Buffet

A.K Zai Meow Cafe

Even with the latest implementation of the Cat Management Framework that allows cats to be kept in HDBs, some of us still can’t bring a cat home, whether it is the commitment of being a paw-rent or a family member who is against getting a pet.

If you resonate with these reasons, the next best way you can get your feline fix is at cat cafes in Singapore. A new cat cafe to consider visiting next is A.K Zai Meow Cafe, right above A.K Zai Lok Lok.

All you need to know about A.K Zai Meow Cafe

This new cat cafe in town, A.K Zai Meow Cafe, is an extension of A.K Zai Lok Lok and Hey Brew Cafe Bar. Located in the CBD area at 14 Smith Street, it is less than 10 minutes’ walk away from nearby MRT stations, Telok Ayer and Chinatown.

And since it is open daily from 12pm to 10pm, it’s perfect for lunchtime or after-work visits.

Unlike most cat cafes that only offer light bights and finger foods, A.K Zai Meow Cafe has lok lok hotpot and BBQ buffets. Plus, if you eat at their lok lok buffet (from $19.90/pax) from Mondays to Thursdays, you can get a free 15-minute admission to the cat cafe.

Inside the cat cafe, there are 10 resident fur babies, some being the popular British shorthair breed. Of course, since A.K Zai started as a food business, it’s no surprise that the cats here have cute and unique food-related names like Rambutan, Orange, and Seaweed.

As most of the cats here are still hyperactive kittens, they are always up for hardy play sessions that involve zoomies around the cat towers and chasing feathery fish rod toys.
