Just ‘cause outside food isn’t allowed on the premises, doesn’t mean you’ll go hungry once the engines start. In fact, you will find a wide assortment of restaurants and bars in all the zones such as:
- Market Street Global Cuisine (Zone 1)
- Uptown Village (Zone 3, under the Bay Grandstand)
- Portside Hawkers and Dockside Hawkers (Zone 4)
If last year’s event is anything to go by, you’ll be able to chow down on delish food like burgers, crepes, satay, and beer. While the full list of merchants has yet to be revealed, fret not as vegetarian and halal food options will also be available.
4. Stay till the end of the race on Sunday for fireworks and to go on the tracks

Not a lot of people know this but once the chequered flag is waved on Sunday, you’ll be treated to a spectacular fireworks display that’ll rival even our National Day Parade. So if you missed your chance to snap these beauties on 9th August, be sure to get your camera ready once the race ends.
And if you stay till the very end of each race day, you’ll even get to walk on the race track!
