I have adored crepes ever since I tasted the savoury crepes at Marche, so I was pretty delighted to find out that there was actually a restaurant that specialised in selling crepes, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
The crepes at Out of the Pan are a delightful fusion of east meets west. The restaurant boasts of unique flavours like kimchi, and even peking duck, wrapped in crepes made of flour of your own choice, so in a sense, customers are allowed to customize their own crepes. For the slightly less adventurous folks, there are still traditional western crepes like smoked ham.
Personally, I tried the smoked ham, and it was good, though not exactly mind-blowing deliciousness. The tomato sauce which came with the crepe definitely matched well with it, and injected more flavour into the dish. I would recommend peking duck, as my mother ordered that, and when I took a bite from her crepe, I was absolutely blown over by how amazing it tasted!
Prices can be a little pricey for just mere crepes, but I suppose it's worth the money if you're looking out to try new restaurants, though I don't think I'll be a regular there anytime soon.
Service was efficient, though the waiter that served us looked as if he was absolutely bored with his job, and would much rather be swimming in the fountain beside the restaurant.
