Affordable authentic Thai cuisine in the heartlands ! Ah Roi Mak Mak !

Once in a blue moon, you chanced upon an eatery that you really absolutely adored the food that you keep thinking about it and making future dining plan to go back... to just to revisit what hooked you and also check out other dishes that you were not able to during the previous visit...Spicy Thai - Thai Cuisine is one such diner.

Readers might wonder why if it's that good as I raved about , why not give the full 5 stars? I have this simple rationale...I rather "under promise" and "over deliver". The food are undoubtedly superb but as taste is a subjective matter, I will leave the last star to be awarded by the readers who do check out the diner.

But personally - from a taste and the value for money perspective, I have already awarded the eatery a full 5 stars. And for the diner's managing owner commitment to quality and service to the diner's patrons, I would have added a diamond. Yes, 5 stars with diamond. Why so ? The reason is that the managing owner, Mr. Ron Poh already operated another Thai eatery in Dunlop Street (Little India) since 5-6 years back. Being in a shared F&B compound, he could not offer wider range of dishes due to space constraint. AND another bugging irritation was that he could not keep the toilet in a 1st world condition in the shared environment..So when he took the entire food outlet space at it's Aljunied location, he goes all out to make sure his patrons will get to enjoy a clean restroom. This is on top of other quality measures he adopted at the eatery (like fresh live catfish delivered from a handpicked breeder from across the Causeway, so that diners get to eat genuine fresh catfish...frozen fish is not accepted). So does this deserve a diamond ? I would think so.

So what's good at Spicy Thai ? apparently, you can't go wrong with most. Have a chat with the waiting staff for the restaurant signature dishes and you good to go..on a authentic Thai gastronomic adventure. And the best part is that it does cost you the earth... Yes... check out my blog and more importantly...go check out the dishes yourself.
