Countryside haven

This place is perfect for those who want to take a break from their busy city lives and just relax in an almost surreal countryside like environment.

My sister and I used to take horse riding lessons there every week, and I still remember that my horse was called James. Horse riding is pretty uncommon in Singapore, but if you are interested enough it really is worth trying at least once in your life. The trainers were extremely friendly and once you are familiar enough with the horses and the horses are familiar enough with you, the trainers even let you feed the horses!

Even if you are taking horse riding lessons, this is really a great place to just chill and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Singapore doesn't feel like her

Me and my friend came here a while back.

We were looking for Riders Cafe but as things took a turn and we instead found ourseleves wandering around the saddle club, looking at the gorgeous horses accompanied by their equally beautiful riders.

There was a fenced field for them to graze and be on their own in the pasture, so me and my friend decided to climb up to it but keep a respectable distance so we don't scare it.

Contrary to what I thought, horses are really huge. Their beautiful manes and strong tail flicks were nothing like what I expected them to be (I watch too much Barbie) and to be in their presence was an awe to me.

One of the horses started to graze and its riders were standing by it lovingly and it looked too picture perfect for Singapore, so I took a view.

So surreal.
