Candyland!

Candylicious is one of the biggest candy stores in Singapore and carries over 5000 different types of chocolate and candy. Its most popular outlet is the one at Resort World Sentosa, right outside Universal studios. It is a popular haunt for tourists and local alike, who are drawn to its cute interior that looks similar to the Willy Wonka chocolate factory.

My favourite part of the shop is the “Pick and Mix” counter where children can experience the joy and freedom of scooping their own candy into a bag - cheap thrills, really. Besides that, the shop boasts the biggest variety of Jellibeans in Singapore. These candies are paid by the weight.

However, the sweets sold at Candylicious are slightly overpriced. For instance, if a KinderEgg costs $2.50 in NTUC it’ll be priced at $2.90 in Candylicious. Overall, Candylicious has a beautiful interior and is ideal for window shopping and snapping pictures.

Sweet Fantasy

I always enjoy my visits to Candylicious because they house a large variety of sweets! In fact, they sell certain sweets that aren't normally found on the shelves of Singapore's grocery stores. (For example: The Mini Nutella jars and also Nutella in Yan Yan packaging)
Also, lets not forget the colourful array of M&Ms. They have the odd coloured ones and even the pastel coloured ones could be found there.

The only drawback about Candylicious is that the sweets that they sell can be rather pricey. But of course, they have the ability to price their items as such because many of their products are unique and can only be bought there. (Or maybe Candy Empire).

I would advise you not to visit this store with the mindset of just getting some normal sweets for the ride because you'll either be stuck there, fascinated by the choices or you'll find it too expensive and walk away.
Normally, I visit Candylicious before Valentine's day to stock up on candy to give out. I believe their business thrives the most during such occasions where people are more willing to spend on sweet treats! So head there, if you're looking out for unique sweets or planning to give a sugar lover their fix (:

diabetilicious.

Diabetes never came easier. This colourful candy place looks like a movie scene. Too many colours, definitely. Buy just for display, I suggest, if not risk getting all sorts of illnesses one can get with high consumption of such processed, sweet, sugar and calorie bombs.

That said, they have a large variety of sweets to cater to any sweet tooth, from caramels to gums to chocolates, you want it, you get it. Just remember to foot the bill.
The prices are steep, most of the time, you can get a similar item in mini marts at half if not a quarter of the price. I would say just leave the buying to the tourists, we'll just concentrate on our retro sweets like iced gems and stuff. However, if you're really craving for some coloring in your life, there is no harm trying just that once.

Otherwise, just walk around the store and camwhore, they have picture worthy items on sale.

Candyporn

If you have a sweet tooth, step into Candylicious. You might just think that you have died and reached heaven. That was the thought that I had when I first entered the shop. Only one word could be used to describe what it was - candyland.

From mainstream brands such as Hershey's to their own homemade concoctions, you will never know what you can find here. I bought this intriguing box of chocolates, each piece has a different taste - from dark, to milk, to even peanut-filled. It is truly like what Forrest Gump said, you will never know what you're gonna get.

Definitely worth a visit. I prefer this over Candy Empire, purely for the fact that they stock special candies from the US. Yum!

Great finds

The purple colour theme of the shop is really cute and attractive to me. This place is definitely a must visit for the sweet tooth and the chocolate lovers. They have really huge selection of chocolates that are difficult to find in Singapore.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Ghirardelli chocolates there since I've been trying to look for them to bake my chocolate cake. Prices are not exactly cheap but it saves you the trouble of hunting for chocolates since they have them all under one roof. But I would only go there for chocolates that I cannot find elsewhere. Great finds in this place.

Candylicious!

The interior itself is a huge attraction.

The shop is brightly coloured, with cute decorations as well! What really drew me into their shop was this decoration of theirs-- a tree with colourful lollipops hanging from the branches. I was later on amazed at their variety of candy. You name it, they have it. I didnt even know some of the flavours I saw existed before! (Maybe because I aint exactly a huge candy fan)

Apparently theres this candy which is basically sweet flavoured power which you get to put into a tube. And because each flavor had a different colour, me and my friends had a fun time completing our "creation". Overpriced though, I must say. In fact, the price of almost everything was on the high side. If you aint the type who would splurge on candy, you'd walk out of there tempted, but empty handed.

I still get my Reese there though. I love those peanut butter cups!

Sweets overload -- in a good way!

If you are craving sweets or sweet goods like chocolates, Candylicious is a wonderful place to be. Its hip and fun looking interior is able to draw people inside for at least a look around. Although not as wide in choices as Candy Empire, you can still satisfy your sweet tooth with what is available here.

I like that Candylicious is a spacious and well organized shop, so it's not difficult to locate what you want, provided they have it. The only problem for me is the location. Their outlets are at Takashimaya and RWS, which are rather far. Pricing, too, is a little bit on the high side, so if you are on a tight budget, then maybe you should give this shop a miss.

creative publicity gimmicks

I was attracted to Candylicious not because of the wide variety of candy they sell, but because of their bold and loud decor, their gargantuan sized lollipops, as well as their colourful decorations! They are really making a 'candy' statement with their decorations. You feel happy just by looking at their decorations!

I would say Candylicious has a very creative marketing team - they always have great publicity stunts to market their products! Just a few weeks back, at their outlet at Resorts World Sentosa, they had three big sized men don brightly coloured costumes which were metallic in nature, with huge wigs, sit down at random benches and stay perfectly still! Many mistook them for statues. They had baskets which you could take free samples of chocolates from! Very creative.

Just because Candylicious has a wide store and sells an enormous variety of candy, does not mean they sell exceptionally special candy. By special, I mean candies which have out of the world flavour combinations, or candies which are simply unique in their own way. They carry famous brands like Ferrero Rocher, Hershey's amongst many others. Nevertheless, they do sell types of candies which are not normally found in ordinary retail stores, in bite sizes and many different quantities.

Candylicious always have lots of promotions! I remember them selling their candy stick for just a dollar each (very sweet!), and giving out free samples of chocolate with no catch. Be sure to keep a lookout for these freebies to stretch each dollar to its fullest!

Sugar filled store!

Everybody likes candy and Candylicious is the place to be! I went to the outlet at Universal Studios twice and I was always amazed by the amount of candy they have. They have various brands of candies and different sizes too. They have a huge Hershey’s candy bar there and it is actually for sale. The candies are not that expensive and it is actually worth buying a few. They sell candies that you can hardly find in normal shops at your neighbourhood.

They do sell stationery, but candy is the best part. The outlet at USS has gelato ice-cream selling in the same store. So, every sweet tooth has to go to that outlet, for the candy and ice-cream!

This place is the death for any sweet tooth

Sweets are everyone's best friend. Take them in moderation and you will live a long and happy life.

The one thing I love about Candylicious is the wide variety of candies that they offer. You can find everything here. There's something for everyone! Chocolate for the ladies, sour candy for the men, gummy candy for the kids and even coconut flavored candy for the older people with more "refined" tastebuds. It's really heaven on earth.

I also like the design of the store. It's fabulous! Candyland! It makes anyone who enters a kid again. It's a happy place with nice lighting and wide rows so you don't bump into anyone while shopping for candy. Too bad phototaking is not allowed. BOO.

It's conveniently located near USS, so people who just came from the theme park can spend the rest of their money on candy. It might get a bit expensive, but there really is something for everyone. Watch out for the discounted candy that they have once in a while. It's worth it!
