The company is the second largest taxi operators. It now has slightly over 3000 taxis of which 100 are Mercedes taxi.

Uncomfortable for travel

I personally have a great dislike for the interior smell and feeling of the taxis. Their seats feel rough and the car, in general, is rudimentary and old. Whenever I hop into one of these taxis, the general stuffiness of the taxi sometimes makes me get a headache, I feel this weird pressure obstructing my mind when I'm in these taxis. While this company may be the 'second largest', I generally never see trans-cab taxis when i scout for one. I wonder why?

In contrast to the taxis, the drivers are not bad. They are polite and attentive and they general do not fall into the super talkative mode.

I usually do not take taxis anymore because most of the time, the travelling is not worth the value. I do not understand the price hike as there is no corresponding increase in the speed of service.

Worst of the pack

Of all the taxi companies, this is one taxi I will avoid taking if I have the choice. This means that if I am flagging a taxi on the road, I will not raise my hand to flag a taxi from this company even if it is for hired. If I am queuing in a taxi stand, then it is just my luck.

Why is it so? I think it got to do with the history of the company. If I am not wrong, this company started as a gas delivery company and then diverted into the taxi business. I always have the impression that their taxi drivers were converted from gas delivery drivers. You know, those drivers that drive big trucks with a "Dangerous. Highly Flammable" sign behind. Yes, these drivers are dangerous. I think they are rushing to meet a tight delivery schedule so they like to weave in and out of lanes.

I saw some of the taxi drivers from this company also driving the same way. That is why I will not voluntarily take a taxi from this company.
