The best 6 years of my childhood
The grass field where the annual school sports day was held. Morning assembly at 720am. Playing hopscotch before the start of lessons.
Primary school was loaded with fond memories for me. Even though I find myself losing the details of these memories that date back to the beginning of 2000, thinking of the fun I had in Haig Girls' School never fails to make me smile. Regardless of race, nationality and background, you will be readily accepted by teachers and classmates in school. I'm thankful to have been in this multi-racial school where I was introduced to many different cultures and have made many friends. 13 years since primary one, I still keep in contact with my closest friends whom I met in Haig Girls' School.
I recall being chided by Chen Lao Shi (Teacher Chen) for my poor Chinese. I have her to thank for my appreciation of the chinese language now. Although fierce, Chen Lao Shi was the best chinese teacher I ever had.
