A vegan’s new best friend

Being a vegan anywhere in the world, let alone in Singapore, can be very, very difficult. Happy Cow helps to make the whole thing much easier, an online restaurant guide constantly updated by users, showing you vegetarian and vegan restaurants by country and region. It’s full of user reviews, price guides and photos of the kind of food that you can expect. It’s basically like the much more hippy, online Yellow Pages.

You can narrow down your selection via price, location, rating and whether you want vegan or simply vegetarian friendly. With one click you can find what times the restaurant is open, a link to the website, contact details and user reviews. The amount of times that Happy Cow has helped me find vegan restaurants is uncountable, and their database is so large that you can use it all across the world, whether in Thailand or in London.

Simple and effective makes Happy Cow a vegan's best friend. It’s everything that I love from a website, it makes finding places to eat a million times easier and the online shop and blog are also worth a view. I’m yet to submit my own listing but I’m so busy still exploring the countless options already on the website, so if you fancy stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something different, give Happy Cow a try.
