This won't be around for too long
This masjid probably won't be around for much longer once the decision is made to redevelop the area in which the mosque is located. Right now, it is located almost like in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by military installations and the Home Team Academy.
Most of the users of this Mosque would come from those places and the former kampong folks who used to live near the mosque. It is quite similar to the Kampong Sembawang Mosque with the major point that the Sembawang mosque had a politician backer (Dr Tony Tan) to lobby for its fate and now is a gazetted building. Masjid Al-Firdaus? I don't think so.
