Disappointed experience

The sound system was ok. But the soundproofing is so lousy. Me and my Friend booked a small room which is just behind the hall. When we were inside the room with the door closed, we still can hear the singing from outside so loudly. It's like we have to "fight" to hear ourselves in the room.

The song selections were also so limited. And the searching of the songs were not that friendly.

Overall, this is my first visit and it will be my last.

Cosy KTV Lounge, Impressive System with Updated Song Selections

I was invited to Voice Art's grand opening last weekend at Bishan, inside SMRT Sports and Recreation Club. The KTV lounge was smaller than i'd expected but its comfortable, unpretentious interior made me feel right at home.

One of the main benefits of karaoke has nothing to do with the singing but the camaraderie of doing something together with others. It is fun to get together with friends and the music helps us loosen up and escape from our taxing, fast-paced lives.

Voice Art has 2 KTV rooms that can accommodate 4-6 pax a time and their KTV hall, big enough to host a party of 30-40 people. Drinks are available near the counter for easy access.

Personally, after singing a couple of songs in the hall, i find the sound output and performance of their system quite marvelous and it brings out quality sounds. If you are a karaoke enthusiast, you would definitely approve of the rich sound and high performance of their microphones.

Younger teens and modern music lovers wouldn't want to sing outdated classics from yesteryears so having a fresh and updated song selection is one of the key benefits at Voice Art.

Overall, this is a great place to catch up with friends and family if you live around the vicinity. Downside is they only have 2 available rooms at one time so it'd be wise to make your reservations early especially on the weekends! Otherwise, you can always choose to sing at the hall and make new friends!
