For piping hot food freshly cooked and served before you, nothing quite beats teppanyaki. Prepared ‘live’ on a high temperature flat griddle placed right in front of diners, Yaki Yaki Bo dishes up juicy beef, tender chicken, fresh vegetables and delicious seafood such as lobster, shrimp and squid. Watch the chef as he seasons, slices and serves up your order with lightning flair and finesse. Okonomiyaki – a favourite Japanese pancake made of flour batter, cabbage and a choice of ingredients such as seafood, scallops, pork and vegetables, is also available on the menu. A casual dining concept combining food entertainment – Yaki Yaki Bo is a place to dig in with fun.

Teppanyaki lovers should really try this!!

Yaki Yaki Bo is one of our favorite dining places on weekends. We love teppanyaki, but the place we used to frequent closed down so Yaki Yaki Bo was our newfound favorite!!

Whenever we’re there, we would usually order the medium rare Ribeye Steak (even my brother who’s not a beef lover fell in love with this!), Cream Dory set, Scallop set and Teriyaki Set! As for me, the shellfood lover, I would order the Oyster Egg! The ones worth mentioning would be the Oyster Egg that’s really different from the ones we had in hawker centres (better of course), Garlic rice (instead of the normal rice) and the Chawanmushis!

I love the chawanmushis so much that I would order 2 for myself and when I finished mine, I would go around fighting with others or make dad buy me another one! Yup, it’s that good! Instead of using normal chawanmushi cups, Yaki Yaki Bo used onions as their “cups”, which was kind of new to me and the eggs actually absorbed the fragrance of the onions! Very savory and yummy! Mmmm~

Teppanyaki lovers should really try this place!

Tip: Do not order too much as all sets come with complimentary beansprouts! We always find it hard to finish everything, as we wanted to try everything on the menu!
