Located in a two storey conservation shop house, Pasta Brava was established in 1993 by Rolando Luceri, a former Hotelier with over 40 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Since then, under the Luceri family, Pasta Brava has garnered recognition in the local Italian dining scene, as well as winning multiple awards over the years.

Pasta Brava è molto buono!
Pasta is my weakness. Probably notches below cupcakes but they still do me in. Reservations are very much recommended because they get really crowded at meal times. I made a booking in the day and got a table for 8pm. However we arrived half an hour early and were lucky to find out that there was a table available for us.
You can see various artworks and paintings in the restaurant, probably as authentic as it gets without you taking the next flight out to Rome. The restaurant also lined plain white paper on the tables with crayons by the side for diners to doodle while waiting for their food. I chose to deny my date the pleasure of witnessing my impressive artistic capabilities and stayed away from the crayons.
I ordered the very predictable Carbonara and my date the Rigatoni. Both were really good and did not disappoint. I even finished all that bacon! Service was even better, the wait staff were attentive and friendly. One drawback is that if you're a couple dining then chances are you're going to be seated among other couples in a slightly cramped area for single tables.
