Bad Service

I used to have a number of policies with Manulife. All was fine for the first few years until I had to make a claim. Whenever I would call the agent to submit my claim, she would expect me to fit her schedule. I was the client but I was expected to change my appointments and to even go out of my way to meet her!! Once, she even sent me unrelated documents and asked me to print them for her and bring them when I met her. And every meeting, she would push me to buy more products, some of which were clearly rather poor financial choices even to a layman like me.

After a few such experiences, I decided that enough was enough. I cancelled all my policies with Manulife and changed to another agency where I am treated professionally.

Terrbile agents.

There was an agent representing Manulife who was asking for an appointment for quite some time before I'd agreed to meet her. Having done my homework beforehand, I was curious to see what this agent could offer me. As it turned out, nothing at all.

during the meeting she highlighted the peaks pf the various financial plans and on and on about the greatness of Manulife. I quizzed her on some peripheral stuff which she answered shakily. finally, she turned her attention on my finances and told me what I knew was coming: That i had poor money management skills and that I would probably find myself broke and destitute if I didn't let her help me.

I politely told her that I needed to be someplace else. Needless to say, I didn't return her calls.
