A vegetarian friend had brought a group of us to try out this famous vegetarian restaurant and although we had to walk quite a while from the mrt station through the messy streets, it was totally worth the walk when we were finally able to indulge in the delicacies. Once we arrived in the restaurant, a friendly waiter patiently helped us to arrange the table so that our group of 14 could enjoy our meal together. Then it was a hard time for us to decide on which dishes to order as there were more than 50 types of dishes available and each of them looked savoury.
Heeding the advice of the gokul legends, we ordered 5 dishes for our table of 4 and each did not disappoint our taste buds! For me I had ordered the mutton fried rice which was stated as a must-try on the menu. The serving was big and the rice was served in the form of a pyramid which I found interesting. However, those who can't take spice do have to take note to choose their dishes carefully as mine was not deemed spicy on the menu but it was quite hot to my mouth.
The best dish I'd tried on the table would be the curry chicken with bread. The serving of curry was really big with lots of ingredients like mock chicken in it and it actually even tasted well when I dipped my rice with the curry.
It was a very pleasant experience dining there and I would definitely want to go back to try the many other dishes available.
