Un bonne restaurant !!
I have a friend who works at Les Amis so I decided to pay a visit to her by dining at the restaurant. Les Amis deserves all the praise for their desserts. The French are known for their presentable, delicate and lovely-looking sweet treats, and that's definitely what I would recommend to you when you take a trip down to eat there.
If you're not underage, do try their wines as well. Most of the wines in their collection are from Burgundy and Bordeaux, famous places in France for their vineyards and wine-making. I recommend white wines like their Château Fruissé (from Burgundy) if you're having them with desserts or white meat. Pick a stronger, red wine like Rossignal Trapet (from Burgundy) to pair with steak or lamb dishes.
Although Les Amis is a bit of a splurge for casual dining, I would encourage you to go there at least one. The fusion of French cuisine and Japanese inspiration combines different techniques and flavors that will tingle your taste buds. What I had was the Le Saumon en Duo, which is salmon two-ways, and they're salmon are cooked to a pink middle. The meat is soft and delicate, it peels away easily, which shows the fish was cooked perfectly. I'm sure to go back for more, especially their macarons, which are comparable to my favorites at TWG! C'est magnifique!
