Coming from the same company as other retail giants such as Topshop and Dorothy Perkins, one would expect so much more from this shop. While the models are usually decked with gorgeous looking clothing, the inside of the shop disappoints much more than the outer appearance of the shop. While I was drawn into the shop by the clothings on the outside, I always walk out disappointed. Most of the clothings of the season are usually mediocre and boring - they're not much of a big deal. Those that are worth the look are usually quite pricey which make it difficult to purchase as well. This makes it difficult for me to shop in a place like this.
Some of their pieces are also slightly altered designs from other designs that were in trend which makes some of the clothing look a bit awkward. The staff however is nice and friendly.
Sky High Prices
The only time I would actually step into a Warehouse outlet is during the sale period. But even then, I would at most times, leave the store empty handed. Don't get me wrong, the clothing and accessories they offer are classy, sophisticated and detailed to an utmost standard. Pair them with the amazing quality and attention to detail, the brand is something you would find in expensive malls.
And similar to those brands found in expensive malls, the prices are sky high especially for a brand which status isn't even at par with Prada or Chanel. I personally think I would be able to purchase clothing similar to theirs somewhere else and at a cheaper price, though it won't be at their standard of quality.
Anyhow, I think the store will suit better with female working executives who wouldn't mind paying the extra money for their brand,
Great for older women
I'd like to think of Warehouse as the older sister of Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge. The retailer sells elegant, timeless pieces - think long sleeved dresses, white blouses and pencil skirts, many of them very work-appropriate.
The prices are not cheap, but pretty similar to other high street brands like Topshop and Zara. However, as Warehouse is not as popular as these stores, you can find some fashionable items here that won't be purchased by hundreds of others as well.
So, definitely worth a look for working ladies. This brand might not be very well suited for the younger set, but you can still find some items like bags and accessories that transcend generations.
