Just another French dining experience
With its sleek logo and chic interior, The French Table offers the most ambient dining experience in Northpoint. The selection of French dishes available is a good break from the usual fast-food and western options available in the area.
Pictures of duck confit and roasted chicken were plastered all over the entrance, but only the Signature Duck Leg Pasta ($23.90) was the star of the meal. The confit served was tender, salty to the right extent, and delectable. Sadly, the roasted chicken from the Half Chicken with Mushroom Penne Pasta was disappointing - dry and flavourless - with only a crisp skin to win me over. However, my virgin taste of Escargot ($8.80) was a pleasant experience thanks to The French Table, where they served their juicy escargots topped with a generous amount of herbed garlic butter.
The service was slow, likely due to the fact that it was lunch hour, and the entire meal was too creamy and cloying for my liking. I would only recommend the duck confit and the sides if you ever visit.
