Ever since Pizza Hut changed its menu, I love it even more than ever. Previously my favourite was the baked sausage pasta meal, which came with a soup and drink for $9.90 during a promotional lunch period. However, now my favourite is the parchment seafood pasta. You would need to wait quite a bit for it because the preparation time is about 10minutes, but the meal is worth every minute of the wait, and it gives you time to finish your soup while waiting.
The pasta comes wrapped in parchment paper and when you open it up, the pasta inside is piping hot and there is a generous amount of gravy and pasta, as well as seafood such as mussels, prawns and calamari. It is indeed a treat to the senses. It can get a little spicy due to the red chilli they use in the pasta sauce, but for me, it adds to the flavor and the overall satisfaction level is greater with a bit of spice.
Pizza hut ice lemon tea is also one of my favourites because I like how you can add the syrup to the tea according to your own preference. They also do not charge extra if you need more syrup.
My other favourites include the cheesy mussels and the honey chicken drumlets. Both of these are rich in flavour and the satisfaction level from the meal is to the max.

There’s nothing like the good ol’ crunch of a cardboard crust, or perhaps the texture of stringy cheese, topped off with some shrivelled hand-tossed pineapples, cold chicken and canned mushrooms. At Pizza Hut, you will get to pay an average of $16 per person to enjoy this spectacular feast of a meal.
Pizza Hut has also hit ground-breaking results in terms of consistency in service - bad service. In every single outlet that I’ve been to, I’ve waited at least 40 minutes for my food to arrive. Exceptionally rude staff is a bonus in many outlets across Singapore too.
If you don’t wish to deal with this, Pizza Hut also has delivery options that allow you to wait even longer (about 90-150 minutes), and pay even more!
Pizza hut is one of the longest surviving pizza shops in Singapore. Besides serving pizza, it serves other main courses such as baked rice and pasta as well as finger food like honey wings. Pizza Hut is one of my favourite pizza chains mainly due to the tasty finger food they serve. Their Honey Glazed Winglets are to die for. It is glazed to perfection and the winglets are neither too sweet or salty. On the other hand, their pizzas taste the same as those offered by other pizza chains.
Ordering delivery from Pizza Hut is slightly underwhelming though. The average delivery time is 1.5h and the food delivered aren’t piping hot. Another thing pizza hut lacks is sufficient discounts. While they do offer a student deal during weekday lunch hours, that’s about it and they aren’t as many promotions offered to the general public as compared to other pizza chains.
I'm going to start this review by plainly and outrightly saying that the pizza at pizza hut is overrated. It isn't exceptionally tasty nor is it relatively affordable. It isn't even all that special.
A personal pan pizza here costs $17.90. Let's put that into perspective with one of it's competitors: say Domino's Pizza, which perpetually offers 2 Regular Sized (larger than personal size) Pizzas for $22, a mere $4.10 more than a personal pan pizza here. It's obvious that the pizza here is quite expensive and by no means affordable.
That would be fine if the pizza was tasty - but the problem is that the pizza here is painfully mediocre. They lack the zest and flavour that other pizza chains incorporate into their pizza; Domino's Special Sauce or thin crust, for example, or the quality ingredients that higher end pizza chains use. The pizza here is simply plain pizza served at a not-so-plain price.
Given that pizza is their specialty, one can only imagine that their other dishes are equally mediocre. Having tried their pasta and chicken steak, I regret to confirm that they are indeed so. Their chicken 'steak' is basically roasted chicken given a nicer name while their pasta actually pales in comparison to even Pastamania's.
However, Pizza Hut continues to survive and sometimes even thrive, I suspect, due to its slew of promotions. For instance, their recent 1-for-1 weekday promotion is extremely value for money (provided you don't get their $5.50 set add on) with the pasta only setting you back $6 nett and the pizza under $10 nett if you order two and share. They also offer student meals and lunch deals which give you quite a bang for your buck as well. I should add a caveat, however, that the service at Pizza Hut the last time I went (when the weekday promotion was in effect) was rather abysmal - several waiters were all clueless and extremely slow while their manager seemed to be the only one capable of taking orders.
Nonetheless, these special deals and promotions aside, there really is nothing special about Pizza Hut and I find it difficult to see why people continue to go back.
You cannot go wrong with Pizza Hut's Honey Roasted Wings and their signature Seafood Symphony. If you're a seafood lover, I high recommend their Seafood Symphony pizza that's topped with palatable mushrooms, mouthwatering scallops, prawn, squid, and mushrooms.
Their Prawn Aglio Olio is also one of my favourites whenever don't really have the feel for a Pizza. Another one I'd recommend is their Chicken Royale Baked Pasta that's rich with cheese (for cheese lovers!)
I really love Pizza Hut. Even though it's pretty commercialised, the quality of the pizza and pasta is never compromised. I also love their pizza because they're thick-crusted, which is the way I like it. I absolutely love the cheese crust as well, which says something for someone who doesn't really like cheese.
I pretty much think every pizza they make is good. Their aglio olio and beef lasagna is fantastic. I used to go for the student meal, which was really value-for-money. Do try their honey roasted chicken wings and garlic bread as well!
I can't say that it's the best brand in town for pizzas and pastas, but it's decent enough and great for a family dinner.
Although I seldom dine in at Pizza Hut outlets, I love their delivery because the service is quick, food is decent and the prices are really affordable, especially if we order their sets.
Usually I'll just order the Variety Meal Box, which is suitable for 2 people. It comes with 2 pizzas, honey roasted wings, chicken karaage and mini hashbrowns. I love the honey roasted wings because they're so tender and juicy.
As for pizzas, my favourite would probably be the Wild About Mushrooms, with comes with a generous serving of mushrooms, and The Four Cheese, simply because I'm a huge cheese lover. I like how Pizza Hut lets us choose the type of pizza we want, such as thin crust or stuffed crust. I really love the convenience and food that Pizza Hut brings to us.
Pizza hut sells good quality pizzas. I really, really love their crust because it's crispy but not hard as a rock. They have a great amount of toppings and I'm especially fond of Hawaiian. The bread is soft and fluffy and it feels awesome to sink your teeth into. I initially had reservations about their pasta since I believed it was just some extension to the business to make a quick buck but their pasta tastes pretty delicious too.
Their delivery service is good too. I received my pizza in about twenty minutes and it was still hot and fresh, as though it was straight out of the oven. Both the service staff who took my call and the delivery guy were amiable and polite, which really made the whole experience a lot better.
I wouldn't say Pizza Hut is the best Western restaurant in Singapore. Heck, it's not even the best pizza parlour. But, one cannot deny that it is a great place to have a family dinner.
I actually just visited the branch at Changi Terminal 1 and my goodness, the service was so awful. We were at the front of the waiting line and no one came to show us to our seat even though there were so many seats already available. It was also super difficult to get the attention of the waiter because apparently there was only 3 of them for the whole restaurant. They said the waiting time for their food was supposed to be 15 minutes but ours extended till about half an hour.
Despite that, their food is quite alright, average. I've tasted better pasta and better pizza. Definitely better service elsewhere too. But, I love their fries with dips. I don't know what dips they gave but they were simply delicious, probably the best food in the menu.
I'm sure to return here with my family because the ambience is so inviting but I don't think I'll be visiting a Pizza Hut too often...or even for a pizza.
Pizza hut is my favorite pizza place. Why? They have one of the cheapest pizza collections, and also one of the best delivery services.
Instead of the case with MacDonalds, where the delivery order never gets through because of one reason or another (I tried this with my class many times), Pizza Hut always gets the delivery done, and fast. Once, after the call was put in, the delivery came in within half an hour. That ws real good, and the pizzas were still hot and excellent tasting.
I also had the experience of dining in, where the drinks were free flow and we all ordered student meals. The prices were very nice, at only around 6 dollars. We alsowere served very fast. Good job!
I seldom visit Pizza Huts because first of all, I don't fancy pizzas. However, due to their recent 1 for 1 Weekday promotion offer, I decided to try them for lunch.
The service was good and the ambience of that outlet was fine. I ordered Spicy Seafood Deluxe - a pizza that was filled with prawns, squids and tomatoes - with Prawn Aglio Olio. I anticipated a lot from the Seafood Deluxe and was eagerly talking to my friend how good it would turn out to be.
Everything was fine until I picked up the spoon and forks that were placed in a basket on the table. To my horror, the utensils were all stained with sauces and one of the forks had a tiny piece of meat stuck on it.
I was dumbstruck by the disgusting utensils that was presented right in front of my friend and I. I hurriedly asked for a replacement of utensils and they responded to our requests promptly. However, just as I wanted to take a sip of water to ease the disgust that I was having, the dirt found on the glass did not help to make me feel better.
Since the food has been ordered, we had no choice but to stay for the meal. The food was just right for me and there wasn't anything special about the new Seafood Deluxe as I had expected it to turn out better.
All in all, my appetite was ruined even before I could enjoy my meal.
