1. Color Fiesta Ruby- biggest anime convention with cosplay, artist booths, and Vtuber meetups

Considered by many to be one of the most prominent art festivals and anime conventions in Vietnam, Color Fiesta will feature a lot of things that will interest Vietnamese otakus such as Vietnamese vtuber meet-and-greets, art workshops, cosplay events, and the chance to buy merch from some of the most famous artists in the local industry.

This year’s convention – titled Color Fiesta Ruby – will be held for an entire day at Visky Expo. The convention is sure to be packed with people, so be prepared for long lines and bring some water – and bags for merch.

2. WORKSHOP LÀM TRANH KHẮC GỖ, Xưởng vẽ 91 – woodcut workshop for artists of all ages

WORKSHOP LÀM TRANH KHẮC GỖ is a woodcut workshop led by professional instructors from the Ho Chi Minh Fine Arts Association. Participants will get a chance to use professional tools and equipment, as well as learn more about the intricacies of woodcut art. Afterwards, they can bring home their finished products.

3. 7 Bridges Saigon Terrace – enjoy live acoustic with some tasty drinks

4. Saigon Mediterranean Food Festival 2023, Saigon Outcast – explore Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors

If you’re in the mood to expand your taste buds, then try out this festival in Saigon Outcast featuring some of the best Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines. The festival will also offer fine wine and Turkish coffee for thirsty guests.

5. The Kén Silk-painting Exhibition – look into a rare Vietnamese traditional artform

The Kén Silk-painting Exhibition is an art exhibition with a focus on traditional Vietnamese silk painting. This exhibition was made possible by a big group of local artists after a year of planning – featuring more than 90 different silk paintings with the theme of daily Vietnamese lives around the country, from busy cities to the rustic countryside.

6. Comedy Open Mic at Eddie’s New York Deli & Diner – beer and US-style dining experience with an open mic night

Eddie’s New York Deli & Diner is an American-style diner for those who are in love with the classic 1950s diner aesthetic – something that is often found in American films. It features typical American dishes that you might want to try such as homemade burgers, iconic all-American breakfast, or the sweet milkshakes that you often see in movies. This month, there’s a stand-up comedy open mic night at their Thảo Điền location, so check it out if you want to have a good night of laughter. All craft beers will be 20% off that night.
