Bangkok eases Covid-19 restrictions

With the new cluster of COVID-19 infections in December, the Royal Thai Government regulated a strict booze ban upon restaurants, pubs and bars.

However, the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) shared on 22nd February 2021 that these venues will be allowed to serve alcohol until 11PM starting from 1st March 2021.

Different alcohol regulations for each zone

Each of Thailand’s provinces regulates different safety precautions imposed by provincial offices to curb the virus outbreak according to The Nation Thailand.

The CCSA still urges everyone to follow Covid-19 safety guidelines: wearing masks, social distancing, checking temperatures, checking in at locations with ThaiChana or Morchana apps and frequent hand washing.
