Sentosa & USS Have Wicked-Themed Installations & Nightly Light-ups That Will Transport You To The Emerald City

Wicked: For Good at Sentosa & USS

Something wicked this way comes: you may have heard of the Emerald City pop-up at Universal Studios Singapore last year, but now you no longer need a ticket to step into the world of Wicked: For Good. Visit Sentosa from now to 4th January 2026, and you too can walk the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City to find the Wizard of Oz.

P.S.: USS is yet again decked out in Oz glam, in time for the Wicked: For Good premiere this Thursday. Read on to find out what’s up at the theme park.

What is Wicked: For Good at Sentosa?

Wicked: For Good officially hits cinemas on 20th November 2025, and in the lead up to that, Sentosa has undergone a magical makeover, with 6 limited-time installations sprawled between Resorts World Station and Imbiah Station on the Sentosa Express. In other words, this would take you between Sentosa Sensoryscape and Resorts World Sentosa.

You can view these installations and walk the path at any time of the day, without needing to buy any ticket – except for your monorail entry into Sentosa – but it’s only by nightfall that they are lit up, and truly come to life. The lights come on at 6pm nightly, and will stay that way till 1am every night till 4th January 2026, so you have plenty of time to catch them.

Do note that the illuminated Yellow Brick Road can only be seen when the lights come on at 6pm.

What are the Wicked-themed installations on Sentosa?

Glinda’s Bubble

If you start at the Glow Garden, you’ll be hard-pressed to miss Glinda’s Bubble – a life-sized replica of the bubble in which Glinda-with-the-silent-“Ga” descended to greet the fine folk of Munchkinland.

With a platform couch for you to pose on, this bauble is elevated so that you can truly rise above the rest of us common folk.

Yellow Brick Road

As mentioned, the Yellow Brick Road will only be illuminated at dusk, so we highly recommend coming in the evening to walk down the path from Glinda’s Bubble to Lookout Loop. Don’t forget to snap a pic with your favourite characters along the way.

Emerald City Express

When you pass the Tactile Trellis, freshly awash in pinks and greens, you’ll find the Emerald City Express with its exposed clockwork gears. Pose with the steampunk train, and maybe you’ll find yourself whisked off on a journey too.

Elphaba’s Hat

Glinda has her bubble, and Elphie of course, has Elphaba’s Hat, marking the end of the Yellow Brick Road. Rising up 9m tall, and wreathed in mysterious mist, this hat is symbolic of so many things – Elphaba’s transformation, individuality, and uniqueness.

Entrance to Emerald City

Just before you hit Resorts World Sentosa, you’ll find the entrance to Emerald City, flanked by Crockfords Tower and Hotel Michael glowing in pink and green.

Emerald City

The pièce de résistance is the Emerald City at RWS’ Lake of Dreams, and the Limitless Lights: An Ozmopolitan Display of Music & Lights light show runs at 7.30pm, 8.30pm, 9.30pm and 10.30pm on weekends and the eve of public holidays, and at 12am on New Year’s Eve, on 31st December 2025.

But hold up – you mustn’t miss the photobooths at the top of the stairs.

There are 2 of these, one of which is a top-down photobooth. A session at either is priced at $12, and you can get your photos printed on your choice of a Wicked-themed frame. Scan the QR code on the screen after your session for a soft copy of your photos, plus a GIF too.

Wicked: For Good at Universal Studios Singapore

Like last year, USS has taken on a Wicked-themed look for the occasion, and transformed itself into the heart of Oz. However, you’ll have to buy a ticket as usual to enter the park if you want to join in the festivities.

There’s the Glinda- and Elphie-coded decor that’s taken over Hollywood Boulevard, for starters.

Factor in some time for a pit stop at The Silver Screen store, with all-new merchandise so you can bring the Oz experience home.

Pick your bias, and declare your side with any of the merch that are as practical as they are themed.

Kids will love the dolls ($52) that sing, and LEGO collectors will appreciate the Wicked collectible sets that they can grab at the store – including an Emerald City Wall Art ($238).

When you’re done dressing yourself up, keep on walking down Hollywood Boulevard. It leads you to a brand new stage, where there are meet-and-greet sessions with the characters from the show.

Hold your little ones close, because the Wizard’s animatronic head moves and speaks.

Then, meet Glinda and Elphie themselves, though it’s less up close and personal than before, since they get to stand on the stage, and you on the Yellow Brick Road below.

While Elphaba and Glinda aren’t quite free-roaming, the Citizens of Oz are.

Meet the Munchkins, and Ozian Guards too.

Over at the Pantages Hollywood Theatre, where the Singapore premiere for the sequel will be screened this Thursday, you can expect The Wardrobe of Wicked – a curated exhibition that will house scenic recreations and costume replicas from the movies. Think: Glinda’s room, Elphaba’s broom, and even the Wizard’s control panel.

Tickets for the Universal Studios Singapore Premiere Day Specialare priced at $93 for adults and $72 for children, inclusive of a $5 F&B voucher.
