Listen to Jawn Chan’s Soulful Rendition of Waiting on the World to Change by John Mayer – TSL Acoustic Sessions Episode 9

He’s One Seriously Cool Cat. Even Though He’s Allergic To Cats.

TSL Acoustic Sessions has grown from strength to strength. Recently, local singer-songwriter Jawn Chan joined the ranks of Benjamin Kheng and Charlie Lim when he visted the TSL Offices and our resident feline, Pika, despite being severely allergic to cats.

Not sure who he is? You might have seen his music video “Fade To Black” shared on social media. It features two other prominent local artists and Jawn’s close friends, Joel Tan (a.k.a Gentle Bones) and Narelle Kheng from The Sam Willows.

Jawn performed an acoustic cover of John Mayer’s “Waiting on the World to Change” when he dropped by the TSL office. Watch the video below to see Jawn put his little spin to this well-loved track.

Jawn is releasing his debut EP on the 13th of November. But instead of being on a CD, his EP will be on an 8GB thumbdrive, specially designed by him. This unique effort is his way of giving his fans a token that not only contains his originals but something useful they can keep for a long time. For more details on where you can get his EP, click here.

Who do you want us to feature on TSL Acoustic Sessions next? Let us know and we’ll make it happen. As always, like the video and subscribe to TheSmartLocalTV to help us make more videos for you to enjoy. We have videos out every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so keep an eye out for them!
