We can’t quite hop on a plane to catch the cherry blossoms in Japan just yet, but we can still admire them IRL at the Sakura exhibit at the Flower Dome in Gardens by the Bay. Complete with torii gates and rickshaws, this will be quite the photo op to sprinkle your IG feed with beautiful blooms, pastel hues, and all things Japan.

From sakura cherry blossoms to momo peach blossoms, you’ll also catch a glimpse of Japanese red-crowned cranes adorning the blooms. There’s nothing that brings greater satisfaction than snagging a deal on something expensive and at the IT Show Festival, you can get up to 50% off on electronics, with popular brands like Secretlab and Samsung.

For Singaporeans, “Kinokuniya” might be associated with the large Japanese bookstore nestled within Takashimaya, but for the Japanese, it’ll bring to mind a highly-popular supermarket chain over there.
From Daiso and Meidi-ya to Don Don Donki, Singaporeans can’t seem to have enough of all things Japanese. You’ll get to hear from a panel that includes Ong Kuo Sin, director of the hit Channel 8 show ‘School Days’ which won the best sitcom of the year at the Star Awards.

Coming to Singapore for the very first time, this exhibition features mirror-like melted ‘clouds’ on the ground, with intricate monochromatic paintings lining the walls of the space.

Those aching for a potent dose of live performances will be thrilled to know that SeptFest will finally be back after six years with the theme of “In The Margins”.
The festival will showcase local and regional talents through a whole slew of performances, including the Migrant Workers Community Museum exhibition, the Waltz of the Flower theatre performance, and a music performance by NADA x ScRach Marcs.
There’s free admission to all exhibits, and tickets to performances at SeptFest 2021 start from $30.
