‘Tis the season of long weekends – thanks to the upcoming public holidays in 2023 that include Labour Day, Vesak Day, and Hari Raya Haji. As we rejoice and look forward to a much-needed break, those brainstorming for fun things to do can consider a thrilling time at The Karting Arena Jurong.
The folks at the go karting circuit have collaborated with Singapore Discovery Centre to launch a promotion from now till 30th June 2023, where you can save up to $140 when you head down with your friends and family. More details ahead:
Lewis Hamilton, step aside. Those looking to embody the famed F1 racer can visit The Karting Arena Jurong. Here, you’ll find 700m-long racing tracks for you to zoom around with 11 bends that will challenge your drifting skills.
You’re probably thinking, “how fast can I go?” If you’re new to the karting world, opt for the karts that go up to 30km/h for a swift and smooth ride. For a fast and furious time, go for the ones with speeds of up to 50km/h – but do note that you’ll need a valid driver’s license for this option.
Of course, helmets will be provided for all racers so you can speed around in safety. Rubber bands and hair nets are also available to help keep any long-haired racer’s luscious locks out of the way.

Once you’re done racing around, head to the Black Lake Laser Battlefield for an intense game of laser tag. This indoor play area is decorated with tonnes of strange creatures – think aliens and zombies, so you’ll get to live out your Stranger Things fantasy.
Now for the part you’ve been waiting for – the promotion. From now till 30th June 2023, you’ll be able to snag the bundle package of 4 racing tickets (U.P. $110/ticket) and 4 laser tag tickets (U.P. $15/adult) at just $360. Any additional pax will be $90 each, so feel free to jio the whole kampong.
We recommend setting aside a whole day for the activities as all tickets have to be used on the same day. Purchase of the package can be done by emailing contact-j@thekartingarena.com with each participant’s personal details. And if you’re a last-minute planner, good news for you – bookings can be done on the day itself.
Yes, yes – we’ve heard your complaints about Singapore being boring. But is it really? With riveting race tracks and exhilarating laser tag games, our tropical island is nothing short of fun things to fill your days with. And to top it off, there’s the sweet savings you’ll score from this promotion. What’s not to love?
