Eateries near clubs that open till late
Image adapted from: @elainewanders_
We’ve all experienced this after a chaotic night of clubbing – aching legs, booze-induced wooziness, and of course an insatiable appetite for a hearty supper. You know you need food, and you need it now. And so you head on to the nearest fast food outlet for a burger and soggy takeaway fries.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. If you’re partying it up at popular night spots, here’s a list of supper options at late night eateries for post-club chilling.
Supper places near Canvas
1. Yan Kee Noodle House – 24 hours

I could write poetry about my love for this hole-in-the-wall noodle joint that’s a favourite among the post-party crowd. The unassuming stall Yan Kee Noodle House at BK Eating House is most famous for it’s mee sua bak chor mee that’s been hailed as the ultimate hangover preventer.
Each bowl comes with an ample portion of springy, vinegar-drenched mee sua topped with crunchy ikan bilis, whole mushrooms, sliced pork liver, minced pork, and the quintessential smattering of crunchy fried pork lard.

2. Super Star K – open until 4am

Super Star K features a whole slew of Korean favourites like army stew, cold noodles, spicy rice cakes, and “Bibimbomb” – an upgraded take on the classic that sees the rice wrapped in layers of sizzling sliced beef. But key among their offerings is their do-it-yourself BBQ selection which includes beef bulgogi, pork belly, and more. Definitely a top spot for supper with the whole squad.

4. Hajmeer Kwaja Muslim Food – open until 4am latest

If it’s local food you spring for when the club lights go on, make a run for Hajmeer Kwaja Muslim Food. This late night stall at Maxwell Food Court serves up unapologetically greasy local favourites like maggi goreng, briyani, roti John, and murtabak. If you’re after something more meaty and substantial, go for their mutton chops.

5. Haidilao – open until 6am

If you’re partying it up at Singapore’s de facto nightlife district, you can bet your last tequila shot there are plenty of late night dining options for hungry clubbers. If you’re dining in a group and don’t mind splurging a little, make your way to Haidilao for a spicy Szechuan hot pot supper.
While the premium ala carte ingredients like thinly sliced Black Angus beef and home-made tofu pudding is certainly a draw, one of my favourite parts of dining at Haidilao is their sauce bar.

Another great pick for late night nosh in the area is Señor Taco, one of the more authentic Mexican taquerias in town. Must-tries include the Al Pastor Pork Tacos with pineapple, onion, and coriander as well as the Baja-style tacos with beer-battered fish, red and white cabbage slaw, and chipotle-mayo.
If tacos aren’t your jam, there are also other Mexican favourites like burritos, torta steak sandwiches, and a comforting pozole pork soup.

8. Thiên Long Vietnamese Food – open until 4am latest

Feeling a little too tipsy after a chaotic night at Cherry Discotheque? Sober up with a short 15-minute walk to Orchard Towers for some seriously good Vietnamese food at Thiên Long. While the seemingly hidden stall is in a rather, ahem, unsavoury location, their dishes are as authentic as it gets.
Popular dishes include Vietnamese vermicelli noodles topped with pork chop, grilled chicken, and stir-fried beef. Their beef pho is a bit hit too, though it’s only available on Sundays.

9. Mount Faber Nasi Lemak – open until 4am latest
Nasi Lemak isn’t the healthiest breakfast, but one thing we’re sure of is that the classic dish is one of the best post-drinking suppers anyone can ask for. Mount Faber Nasi Lemak in particular makes this list for its delightfully fluffy and rich rice that doesn’t skimp on coconut milk.
For less than five dollars you can pile your plate with sayur lodeh (Malay-style vegetable curry), Taiwanese sausage, stir-fried vegetables and my personal favourite – a massive fried chicken drumstick. You’ll struggle to a more satisfying meal in the area after hours.

10. Adrift by David Myers – open until 4am, last order 1.45am

When you’re partying it up at posh digs like CE LA VIE, you might as well keep the indulgence going at a suitably swanky supper joint like Adrift. While their dishes are decidedly pricey, you get what you pay for. The Adrift Burger is one of the more popular picks – featuring a Wagyu beef patty topped with melted gruyere cheese, pickled jalapenos, and tomato jam.
Their most decadent offering? The have-it-all seafood platter. For $75 per person, you’ll get oysters, uni, caviar, tuna, crab, prawn, and live Hokkaido scallop sashimi.

Up for a little Mischief past midnight? This American street food bar replaced Sauce Bar last year and serves up late night bites inspired by food truck cuisine. The menu here is geared towards sharing with dishes like baby calamari, tenderloin skewers, and a massive rack of BBQ baby back ribs served with smoked sauce and fried potatoes.
While ostensibly American, some of the restaurant’s other offerings feature Asian influences that are apparent in dishes like pork belly sliders with hoisin glaze, and desserts like ondeh ondeh sponge cake with salted coconut caramel.
