The Subaru Impreza is one of the most iconic cars to have graced Singapore’s roads. And if you happened to be out and about in Singapore last weekend, you might have seen a convoy of blue zebras cruising around some of Singapore’s most chio spots.
Come 18th – 19th September, you can test drive the Subaru Impreza exclusively at the Subaru Leng Kee showroom and take home Shell vouchers while you’re at it! Here’s what you can expect during your test drive:
The Subaru Impreza takes plenty of cues from its predecessors while sporting a new Lapis Blue Pearl paint job. Currently in its fifth generation, the practical Japanese hatchback has a roomy interior to store all your barang barang whether you just went shopping or are headed for a camping trip in Pulau Ubin.
It also comes equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD) for impressive handling and stability and a 2.0-litre boxer engine for a low centre of gravity that gives you minimal body roll. New P-plate drivers no longer have to worry when turning corners or navigating roundabouts like those at Serangoon Gardens.
Step into the spacious interior of the Impreza and you’ll notice all the makings of a modern hatchback like the nifty multimedia touchscreen system that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Our taller friends also get surprisingly generous legroom.
Make no mistake – the Subaru Safety Drive isn’t your typical car showroom’s test drive where you’re just taking your favourite Subie out for a spin.
Happening only on 18th & 19th September at the Subaru Showroom in Leng Kee, the safety drive lets you take the front seat and experience Subaru’s technology first-hand.
The first “pit stop” will show you how exactly Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology works. Two cameras positioned at the side of the rear-view mirror monitor traffic movement and will warn the driver of a potential collision with a vehicle or obstacle in front, and can bring the car to a halt with full braking force to help avoid a frontal collision.
You’ll also experience how the Pre-Collision Throttle Management works, as it cuts the engine power if unintended acceleration towards an obstacle is detected.
You’ll also get to experience Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive in action and see how SAWD handles a slippery situation. Plus, if you sign up and head down to the Leng Kee showroom for the Subaru Safety Drive, you can take home a $10 Shell fuel voucher when you test drive the All-New Subaru Impreza.
