There’s nothing quite like sipping on some cocktails, donning your sunnies, and feeling the stress melt away as you soak up the sun. Whether you’re seeking a healthy tan or a cool dip into a pool, the beach clubs of Sentosa beckons.
Now, there’s a new kid on the block. Splash Tribe has recently opened on Palawan Beach with not just daybeds and nosh, but also a sandcastle-themed water playground and 2-storey gazebos. What can we say? We couldn’t resist a visit.
Splash Tribe can be found at The Palawan @ Sentosa. It’s accessible by taking the Sentosa Express to Beach Station, or you can take the free Sentosa Shuttle Bus Service from Harbourfront Bus Interchange or VivoCity and alight at Beach Station. Splash Tribe is just a short walk from Beach Station.
For those taking a taxi, use this drop-off address: 54 Palawan Beach Walk, The Palawan @ Sentosa, Singapore 098233. This will lead you to the Beach Station drop-off point.
There’s no age restriction at Splash Tribe Sentosa, but kids who are under 130cm will need to have life jackets on them in the pool and have their parents close by them at all times. Life jackets are available at the towel stand.
Walk-ins are accepted in Palawan’s Splash Tribe, so long as there’s space available, but there may be a 2-hour cap-off if other guests are waiting in line. For that reason, it’s highly recommended to make a reservation in advance as this will extend your stay up to 4 hours. If you can’t make it to your reservation, make sure to cancel at least 2 days beforehand so you won’t need to pay the $100 cancellation fee.
Splash Tribe has in-house toilets, changing rooms, and showers so you need not head out to use the public toilets. For mothers, there are nursing rooms too should you require one.
The beach club provides 1 towel per guest, subject to availability – do remember to return it when you’re leaving the place. And if you’re planning to WFH here, you can use the free WiFi provided.
Some beach clubs have infinity-edge pools. This spanking new one does, too – and it also has something a little better: water slides. Whether you’ve got a kid in your family or are simply a kid at heart, you now have a new way to escape the heat.
BRB our inner kid is screaming.
The little ones can race their friends down a 3-lane slide, or whizz down a twisting tube. As for the adults, no one’s stopping you from joining in on the fun as well. Just take note that the blue slide in the corner is reserved for toddlers only.
Great for those of us who love water parks but can’t tolerate one adrenaline-pumping ride after another, this water playground in Sentosa is a great middle ground. Splash around till you’re tired before heading back to your lounge or daybed for a siesta.
They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Well, the same can be said for naps, if you ask us. Set aside all worries about KPI, timesheets, and clients for the next workday while you catch some Zs in one of their many daybeds, loungers, and gazebos.
The 2-storey gazebos offer plenty of shade on the lower floor if you need a break from the rays, and an open-deck on level 2. It fits up to 8 people so bring along the whole jin gang – you’ll find the perfect lounge spot, whether you prefer sofas, daybeds, or hammocks.
Each gazebo also comes with power sockets too so you can juice up that battery after taking a million IG stories. Not to mention, you don’t have to worry about letting your data plan go into the red as well, since there’s free WiFi as well.
Possibly the best seats in the house – the second floor of the gazebo has great views.
If the objective is to get a golden glow, the pastel blue daybeds by the pool are a great pick. Open a book, plug in that murder mystery podcast, or simply practice boketto – a.k.a. the Japanese art of doing absolutely nothing as you gaze into the distance.
While most visit beach clubs in groups, solo visitors won’t feel out of place here – the in-water Sun Loungers are great for anyone who wants some me-time.

You can’t have a beach club without food and beverages. Indulge in something refreshing like the Chilled Watermelon Salad which comes with prawns, 2 types of watermelons, and a generous serving of feta cheese. The bite-sized Chicken Sliders are a great option if you’re hankering for something savory but don’t want a food baby.
Tropicana cocktail, Chicken Sliders, Chilled Watermelon Salad, Tropical Sunrise mocktail.
On the drinks menu, find cocktails, beer, and house-pour spirits. Those looking to knock the minimum spend out of the park with drinks can also choose to open a bottle of champagne, rose, or wine.
We tried one of their signature cocktails, Tropicana, doused with pineapple rum, and served with a Tiki-themed cup for Hawaii vibes. Kids or drivers who would prefer to avoid alcohol can go for the Tropical Sunrise mocktail which comes with fresh passion fruit.
Parents with kids above 5 years old will need to pay a $10 entrance fee along with the minimum spend on seating areas at the Splash Tribe. Below, is an overview of the minimum spend required within their respective zones.
Minimum spend:
Dining Table: From $50/table for 4 pax
Sun Lounger: From $50 for 1 pax
Daybed: From $100 for 4 pax
Gazebo: From $400 for 8 pax
Rejuvenation comes in many forms – while some choose to head to the spa or catch a movie, nature lovers know that nothing beats lounging by the sea. Swing by Splash Tribe at The Palawan @ Sentosa with your friends, fam, or anyone that will appreciate the option to glide down a water slide when Singapore’s heat and humidity spikes.
