Not just an event for creative professionals, the Singapore Media Festival is a platform for everyone to come together to appreciate the different facets of screen media and the talent involved in it.
If you’re late to the party that kicked off on 23rd November but still want to be part of the fun, there are still a bunch of activities going on until 9th December. Here, we’ve compiled a list of events that you should check out while you still can.

Since his days of ‘Dou Jiang You Tiao” in the early 00s, Singaporean artiste JJ Lin has grown to become an acclaimed singer-songwriter-producer-actor. Fangirls (and boys) can look forward to a rousing performance from the multi-hyphenate at the Asian Television Awards Live Show on 2nd December, along with items from other stars like British songstress Charli XCX and Amber Liu from Korean girl-group f(x).
Celebrating the best of Asian television, the 21st installment of ATA will cover a range of genres including drama series, documentaries, news programmes, reality shows, and animation. With a bevy of acclaimed hosts like local veteran Adrian Pang and Stephanie Carrington, the event will be a star-studded one you wouldn’t want to miss.

One film to check out is local film veteran K Rajagopal’s “A Yellow Bird” (1st December), the story of an ex-convict who struggles to re-integrate into a society that rejects him.
