Catch Pikachu & Friends At Singapore Cable Car Cabins, With Night Rides To Reveal Hidden Pokémon

Singapore Cable Car Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure

When it comes to getting to Sentosa, the Sentosa Express remains the de facto method to transport us there in a jiffy. But when you’ve got the time the spare, a scenic Singapore Cable Car ride’s another way to reach the island getaway

If you’ve not stepped into their cabins in a while, now’s a great time to do so. Just in time for the holiday season, they’ve decked out their cabins with a Pokémon-themed coat of paint, so you’ll be accompanied by Pikachu and gang on your rides from Mount Faber Peak to Sentosa and vice versa. Here’s what you can expect:

What to know before going on the Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure

As part of their Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure campaign, the iconic Singapore Cable Car ride will sport 5 different cabin designs, all themed after fan-favourite Pokémon like Pikachu and Eevee.

Kids aged 3 & below get to ride for free.

Visitors will be able to hitch a ride on these cabins from 22nd November 2025 to 30th April 2026. Tickets cost $33 for adults and $22 for children aged 4 to 12, or you can opt to purchase a Cable Car SkyPass ($45/adult, $35/child) which allows you to take unlimited cable car rides for the day. BTW, you can score a 10% discount on tickets if you book them via the Mount Faber Leisure Group website.

There are a couple ways to get to Mount Faber Peak in order to take the Singapore Cable Car ride. The sporty types can take a short 800m hike up to the top via Marang Trail, which starts near Harbourfront MRT Exit D. If you’d rather not tire yourself out, you can drive straight up to Mount Faber Peak too; there’s free parking available on-site at Carparks B and C.

Otherwise, you can get there straight from Harbourfront Tower 2, which is accessible via a link bridge found on Level 2 of Harbourfront Centre. Here, you can purchase a cable car ticket for the Mount Faber Line, and Mount Faber Peak is just a short cable car ride away.

What to expect at the Singapore Cable Car Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure

Each ticket also comes with a complimentary Pikachu sun visor.

Once you’ve made your way to Mount Faber Peak, your Pokémon-filled journey begins before you even set foot into Singapore Cable Car’s new cabins. There’s a cute photo point featuring decommissioned cable car cabins splashed with Pokémon motifs, as well as huge frames of Pikachu and Mew set against picturesque hilltop views, so feel free to snap away.

Don’t keep your finger off the shutter just yet; board the cable car, and you’ll realise that the interior of the cabins are also wonderfully decorated to match the various Pokémon. There are 5 different ones to catch; our favourites include the Charmander-themed one that flaunts a vibrant orange, while Jigglypuff’s is playfully checkered, dressed in pretty pink.

Another adventure awaits once the sun dips below the horizon. When it gets dark, you’ll be able to spot more Pokémon hidden in plain sight within the new cabins. Simply shine the UV torchlight provided by the cable car staff during rides from 7.45pm onwards at the cabin’s ceiling. This will reveal even more companions on your ride; try to spot the elusive Mew if you can.

We recommend coming down around 6.30pm to catch golden hour for the best views alongside your Pokémon pals. Afterwards, you can grab dinner at either Arbora or Dusk @ Mount Faber Peak, soak in the sights at the photo spots, and then do some shopping at the gift store. The sky should be dark enough by now to allow you to catch the UV-reactive silhouettes clearly.

Speaking of, don’t forget to swing by the Singapore Cable Car gift shop too. Apart from its usual assortment of souvenirs, they’ve made some Pokémon-inspired inclusions as well. Bring home goodies such as glow-in-the-dark tees (from $29) and trading cards (from $6.90) there’s also a DIY keychain (from $15) section where you can customise rubber plates with your initials and Pokémon-related charms.

Hitch a ride on the new Pokémon-themed cable car cabins

Whether you’re a tourist experiencing the cable car ride for the first time or a family looking for some wholesome fun atop Mount Faber, the Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure has got you covered.
