It’s almost the end of the year and you know what that means – time to start planning those holidays! From shopping sprees in Bangkok to winter getaways in mountainous parts of Japan, everyone probably has a few favourites in mind.
But if you’re still hesitating on getting those tickets just because you haven’t accumulated enough milepoints, here’s a good reason for you to get em’ ASAP.
Singapore Airlines is holding The Great Singapore Airlines Getaway 2017, and DBS/POSB Credit and Debit Cardmembers (AKA everyone) stand to win a free trip, with other prizes such as ZoukOut 2-Day Passes, Dream Cruises vouchers and more! Here’s how:
From now till the 24th of September 2017, top 1,000 customers who have made a qualifying spend of $1,000 on singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir mobile app with any DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Card will receive an SMS which contains a registration link.
After you complete the registration form, a unique code will be sent to you via SMS on 2nd October 2017. Download the DBS Lifestyle App (Apple, Android), click on the “DBS x Singapore Airlines” banner and use your code to access a game.
Each code is entitled to one play, and by tapping on one of the “Gift Boxes”, you will receive your prize.
If you win the grand prize, DBS will reimburse you with a full cash rebate (up to $5000) for the tickets you’ve purchased – so whether it’s a $1000 flight to Tokyo or a $4000 flight to New York, you’ll be getting all your cash back.

Apart from the free trip, there are other attractive prizes to be won too – such as a pair of 2-day ZoukOut passes, for hardcore ravers to enjoy partying to a line-up including DJ Marshmello and Flume.

Vouchers for 2-Night and 5-Night trips with Dream Cruises are waiting for you too – from a waterpark with winding slides, to Zouk At Sea and a glow-in-the-dark bowling alley, this cruise has a total of 18 fun decks for you to explore!

Techies will look forward to a Samsung Galaxy Note8 being given away – the S pen creates shareable doodles, and its DeX Station allows you to transform your phone into a desktop-like experience.
If you’re looking for a good reason to embark on a year-end trip, take advantage of this opportunity to register for this deal! All you DBS/POSB cardholders have to do is spend a minimum of $1000 on the Singapore Airlines website or the SingaporeAir mobile app (Apple, Android) from now to 24th September 2017, and register by the same deadline to qualify for a game on the DBS Lifestyle App (Apple, Android).
Only the first DBS/POSB 1,000 Cardmembers who register will be able to play the game, so don’t wait!

Besides, there are crazy-low promotions for Singapore Airline’s flights too – from just $178, you’ll be able to purchase a return trip to Bangkok, and from $578, a return trip to Seoul.
Comparing these prices to that of budget airlines’, you’ll be paying just a fraction more for in-flight entertainment, cushioned headrests and cosy seats – and not forgetting, a good amount of legroom.
So start making plans and marking your calendars as there’s no time to be wasted – book a flight soon, and you might just end up getting it for free!
