Punggol residents, your next workout spot has just launched, and there’s a bonus for your wallet too. The new Punggol ActiveSG Gym is now open, with free entry till 31st October 2026. While the long-awaited Punggol Regional Sports Centre is only expected to officially open by the end of 2026, you can get a head start on your fitness goals at the gym in the meantime.
The new gym offers a spacious workout area filled with a variety of gym equipment, such as treadmills, weights, stationary bikes, rowing machines, and stair climbers.

Comments on social media have also pointed out how big the space looks, with the layout seemingly well thought out to accommodate gym-goers. This means you’ll get to work through your sets without feeling too cramped, while still having space to wait for your turn at a machine.
Located on Level 2 of the Punggol Regional Sports Centre, the gym also comes with a pretty nice view to keep you company while working out. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the area where the treadmills and stationary bikes are placed, so you can catch views of the surrounding greenery while getting your cardio in.
There’s even a view of the infinity pool on Level 1, giving you something scenic to look at when you’re starting to feel the burn; having a view like this might just make those extra minutes on the treadmill feel more bearable.

According to the ActiveSG website, entry to the Punggol ActiveSG Gym is free till 31st October 2026. The gym is open daily from 7am to 10pm, making it easy to squeeze in a session before work or after knocking off.
Don’t worry even if you miss the free-entry period, because the standard rates are wallet-friendly too. Adults who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents pay just $2.50/entry, while students and senior citizens enjoy an even lower rate of $1.50/entry. Looks like your fitness goals don’t have to come with an expensive gym membership after all.
