It’s hot. That’s a glaring fact – one as bright as the sun these days, one might say. Cool off from the heat this coming month with a kayaking expedition that’ll take the temperature down a notch. PAssion Wave is having a limited-time Rent-a-Craft, Pay-by-Trash event where you can rent a kayak for just $1. Enjoy the water sport at super-low prices while giving mother nature a little grooming sesh from 3rd-11th September 2022.

Just in time for the September holidays, Rent-a-Craft, Pay-by-Trash returns for its 5th run. A collaboration between PAssion Wave and International Coastal Cleanup Singapore (ICCS), this campaign is a budget-friendly activity and an eco-friendly initiative bundled up in one.

Adults and kids can sign up for their 2-hour kayaking session which comes with a personal floatation device, paddle and kayak. Locations include PAsssion Wave’s sea and reservoir-based outlets scattered across the island:

Sessions are available at 9am and 2pm daily – though you’d probably want to snag the earlier slot to avoid getting too much Vitamin D. All pails, tongs and gloves will be provided so you’ll just need to come with a set of sporty attire and a single dollar coin.

Each 2-hour session includes registration, cleanup and washing of equipment. Collect good karma points by staying back after to help with the sorting of trash after.
If you’d like to give back to society this September holidays, register for PAssion Wave’s Rent-a-Craft, Pay-by-Trash for a fun and wholesome day out. All you need is $1 – the token sum will be used for equipment rental and funding for future pro-bono kayaking cleanup sessions for the less privileged.
