It’s pretty difficult to imagine another city with more malls per square mile than Singapore.
There are offbeat boutiques, mega malls, quirky bookstores, and some of the best thrift shops in the region. And now, adding to the mix is a spanking new open-air shopping centre with pet-friendly features and a list of restaurants that runs as far as the eye can see. Meet One Holland Village, the newest addition to the trendy hub of Holland Village.
Open-air mall with pet-friendly amenities
News just in: there’s a new mall on the block and it’s pet-friendly.
Chill on the swings that are located on the ground floor near the food centre.
Spanning 4 floors, One Holland Village consists of alfresco dining options, a playground, a pocket park, and several perks for your pups. We’re talking drinking fountains, poop bag dispensers, leash hooks, designated pet lifts, and an expansive space where you can walk Fido.
When you’re not splashing cash at the stores or playing catch with your pup, head to Village Square to take in the intriguing art pieces done by both local and international artists.

The whole concept feels less like an ordinary mall and more like an art gallery that also happens to have hundreds of stores and restaurants.
Shopping & dining deals
Along with shopping, eating is a full-time occupation in Singapore. At One Holland Village, you’ll have plenty of dining options.
For a good ol’ cuppa or one of the wacky secret menu items that’ll hit the spot, head to Starbucks. And since 1 cafe inside the mall simply isn’t enough, there’s also Paris Baguette as well as Plain Meredith. The latter has menus catered to both hoomans and their furry friends, so you can share a puppuccino with the fluffer on your lap as they do in Paris.
If you’re looking to curb your sweet cravings without bolting to a stash of gummy bears, try the healthy nosh at Snack First. Their dried mangos and trail mixes are made from fresh ingredients and contain little sugar so you won’t have to feel guilty about snacking again.
