Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue at Mandai Wildlife Reserve
If there’s one way to win the jackpot of brownie points with your gamer kid this year, the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue might be it. After runs in Dallas, Toronto, and London, the immersive experience created by Montreal-based multimedia studio Supply + Demand is coming to Singapore – its first stop in Asia – from 24th April to 13th September 2026, at Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
Where to find this experience, and how much are the tickets? Read on to find out.
What is Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue?
What is Minecraft?

Before going into the experience, here’s the long and short of what the game’s about. Minecraft is a 3D sandbox video game – a digital box of infinite LEGO blocks, and no rules, where you can team up with, or fight other players, build entire empires, go on world conquests, and so on.

This immersive game sends you into a real-life Overworld on a heroic mission to rescue villagers who are facing a zombie attack. The story-based quest sees you and your team move through 8 themed rooms decked out in large-scale projections, theatrical sets, motion-tracking gameplay and interactive storytelling.

Each player will be given an Orb of Interaction, allowing them to interact with the environment and influence elements in each room. There’ll be mobs and Minecraft biomes, AKA just like in the game.

When you’ve completed your mission, there’s a Minecraft Experience: Trading Post where you can pick up merch and souvenirs to commemorate your exhilarating adventure. That’s not all: each player can claim an in-game cape too.
When is it coming to Singapore?

We expect June holiday tickets to the Minecraft Experience to be in high demand, but if you’re not going with a Primary School tweenager, you might just get away with going in any of the other months that it’ll be in town. That is to say, anytime in May, and July to August – after the opening furore and before the June holidays, or thereafter and before the September holidays.
Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
All of those dates fall between 24th April and 13th September 2026. Admission to the experience is by allocated timeslots daily, with 15-minute intervals. It’ll run from 11am to 7pm on weekdays, and 10am to 8pm on weekends.
It takes approximately 55 minutes to complete the route.

Where will it be & how to get there?
We recently visited Exploria at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, and had the cutest Falabella encounter at the Singapore Zoo. Come April, Mandai Wildlife East will play host to Minecraft Experience, at the Green Canvas – a 2,800sqft Southeast Asian forest-themed event space.
You can get here via bus 927 from Choa Chu Kang MRT Station, bus 138 from Ang Mo Kio or Springleaf MRT Stations, or the Mandai Khatib Bus from Khatib MRT Station. Alight at the Singapore Zoo bus stop to get to Mandai Wildlife East.
