2024’s coming to an end, and before we can start to wonder where the time has gone, we’re already blowing a hole in our pockets on Christmas gifts and year-end holidays. Consequently, some of us are trying to ease the burden on our bank accounts by cutting back on expenses, whether that means skipping out on BBT for lunch or calling for private hire vehicles less frequently.
Well, if you’re tired of scrimping and saving every penny, get more bang for your buck instead with Link Rewards. It’s a reward programme which blesses users with a plethora of perks, by earning Linkpoints at FairPrice supermarkets and their partner outlets to cash in for enticing goodies. Here’s all you need to know before you start racking up points:
Link Rewards is a reward programme by the FairPrice Group that benefits shoppers who are looking for a smart way to get the most out of their everyday expenditures. You’ll want to hop on the Link Rewards website and download the FairPrice Group app (App Store | Google Play) to get started.
Once you’ve got an account set up, you can start accumulating Linkpoints at FairPrice, Unity, and selected Cheers stores.

Other than grocery shopping, you can also earn points at more than 1,000 partner outlets islandwide, across categories like Health & Beauty, Food & Beverage, and fuel. As such, foodies and shopaholics alike can start amassing Linkpoints at their wide range of partner outlets, including popular eateries, retail stores, and even gas stations.
Simply download the FairPrice Group app, sign up for a free membership account or connect your Link account, tap on “Pay/Earn” on the app’s home page, and present your QR code in-store to earn Linkpoints on your purchases.
For those who prefer to do their shopping online, they can log into their Link account before carting out on select brands’ online pages to earn 1 Linkpoint for every $1 spent. Head to the Link Online Mall website for the full list of brands. Just a heads up, they’ve got popular retailers such as Nike, Sephora, and Decathlon, which are perfect for those going on shopping sprees this festive season.
Once you’ve saved up enough Linkpoints, there are a couple of ways to cash them in for all sorts of rewards. Firstly, you can use your Linkpoints to offset your purchases at any participating Link partners; every 100 Linkpoints will shave $1 off your total spending.
Alternatively, whip out your FairPrice Group app and tap on the “Rewards” panel on the home page. You’ll be brought to a page filled with app-exclusive rewards you can exchange your Linkpoints for.
Attractive rewards include Apple gadgets, namely Apple AirTag and AirPods earbuds, while stocks last. There’s also a whole range of cooking appliances to choose from, along with dining vouchers for restaurants like Takagi Ramen and Beauty in The Pot.
Additionally, from now till 31st December 2024, Link Rewards members can look forward to special deals such as a 50% discount on certain F&B offers and flash sales that cost just 99 Linkpoints. For example, they’re currently dishing out Obanyaki stuffed pancakes from 108 Matcha Saro, as well as medium Jasmine Green Teas from KOI Thé, for only 99 Linkpoints.
For NTUC Union members, if you have been hoarding your Linkpoints for something special, now’s a great time to spend them on these rewards before your Linkpoints expire on 31st Dec 2024.
You can also convert your Linkpoints into your preferred loyalty points or air miles via the Linkpoints Exchange website. Frequent flyers can rejoice, as they can snag Cathay Pacific’s Asia Miles or KrisFlyer’s KrisFlyer miles with their Linkpoints to save on airfare for their next vacation.
Finally, don’t forget to check out the FairPrice Group app’s Play and Win challenges. You can take part by tapping into the “Play and Win” under your account – for now, completing tasks in the “Unlock 600 Linkpoints” challenge nets you a bonus of 600 Linkpoints. Those who’ve yet to earn Linkpoints with your app outside of the FairPrice Group can also stay tuned for a 12.12 bonus on 12th December 2024.
When it comes to saving money, cutting costs doesn’t have to be so burdensome when you’ve got a helping hand to make your money work for you. Consider giving Link Rewards a try, and perhaps that next bubble tea fix won’t weigh too much on your monthly expenditure.
