Borders have opened and we are back to jet-setting around the world. To help fund our travel needs, some of us cleverly take advantage of air miles to redeem flight tickets, or even an upgrade to fly in style while scoring hefty savings.
You now have more opportunities to earn miles with Singapore Airlines’ lifestyle rewards app – Kris+. It lets you earn miles on everyday spend as you shop and dine. In fact, the app offers the highest miles-earning rates in Singapore, at up to 9 miles per S$1 spent. There are also perks offered by over 1,500 merchants, from 15% off Trickeye Museum tickets to adidas discounts.
If you’re a Mr/Mrs Worldwide who flies frequently, you’d have heard of miles accumulation and how they can be used to upgrade you to a more boujee class on flights. With Kris+, you can still rake up them miles even when you’re not flying.
For every S$1 spent at Kris+ partners islandwide, you’ll get to earn up to 9 miles. You won’t find a better miles-earning rewards programme on the market. Furthermore, there is no cap to the number of miles you can collect from Kris+, and your earnings will be in addition to rewards from the credit card that you use to pay through the app.
Depending on which miles accumulation credit card you use, you can also earn additionally, up to 4 miles per S$1 spend. This brings the total to a whopping 13 miles per $1 on a single transaction.
To put it into perspective, say you’re bringing the fam out to a fancy dinner at TUNG LOK Seafood and spend ~$700 on an epic feast. Assuming you pay with a 4 miles per $1 credit card through the Kris+ app – unlocking an additional 9 miles per $1 – that 1 meal would have earned 9,100 miles.
That’s enough to redeem a one-way trip to Bali on Singapore Airlines. A sumptuous spread and a free vacay? Don’t mind if I do.
Besides collecting miles to redeem your next flight, you can use the Kris+ app to redeem promotions at over 1,500 shops in Singapore, spanning from F&B stores such as Beauty in The Pot, Gong Cha, and Bee Cheng Hiang to popular retail brands like GUESS and Challenger, and atas spas, among many others.
In other words, the app remains a handy companion for everyday savings and rewards – even when you’re back from a trip.
