If the way that the McDonald’s McGriddles hoodie was snapped up is anything to go by, Singaporeans seem to be Eager McBeavers for fast food merch. Maybe it’s just our culture quirk and innate love for queuing, but KFC breakfast lovers in particular will feel compelled to snag a limited edition KFC blanket.
It’s launching on 14th August 2024 with just 900 pieces available islandwide. Only 10 outlets will be partaking in the launch, here are the deets so you can start planning which one to queue at.

It’s a merch launch that none of us were expecting, but now that it’s materialising, we’ve got to have it. The KFC blanket is printed with adorable motifs of iconic KFC breakfast elements, namely their porridge, waffle, Twister wrap, and breakfast burger.

When zipped up, it becomes a larger-than-life version of KFC’s beloved breakfast porridge, and is the perfect size for cuddling. This bed and couch companion costs $9.95 with the purchase of an Original Recipe Porridge and Twister Buddy Meal ($12.90), or $19.90 ala carte.
What’s in the Buddy Meal, you ask? You’ll get an Original Recipe Porridge, an Original Recipe Twister breakfast wrap, 2 hashbrowns, and 2 regular-sized Milos. A solid feast to share with whoever you’re dragging along to accompany you in the queue.
For the uninitiated, KFC’s breakfast porridge is made of slow-cooked jasmine rice, topped with Original Recipe chicken fillet chunks for a burst of savoriness.
Queues are likely to wrap around the block! Word of the wise: pick one of the mall outlets so you can at least line up in an air-conditioned environment.
