If good food’s the way to your mum’s heart, then look no further than Dian Xiao Er’s Parents’ Day Special set meals. They’ve divided their fare into 3 sets, namely the Thankful (from $149), Grateful (from $123), and Loving (from $99), but from the looks of it, they’re all equally as sumptuous. You’ll also be able to spruce up your meal with a free soap carnation; Dian Xiao Er is giving a stalk when you give your parents a heartfelt hug.
The sets’ stir-fried prawns come with chewy Korean rice cakes.
Back to the fare, some of Dian Xiao Er’s new, exclusive dishes that can only be found on the set menus include their Honey Garlic Chicken, which coats golden chicken thighs with a curious blend of sweet and savoury flavours. Seafood lovers can feast on their decadent Deep-Fried Seabass, or indulge in hefty pieces of Braised Abalone with Fish Maw.

For the tardy, Raffles Florist is also coming in clutch with their batch of individual roses. On 12th May, simply flash this article at the cashier and you can snag a stalk for $2 (U.P $10) during Mother’s Day itself.
