Buffets. Ahh the idea of free flow food, stuffing yourself silly and then slowly slipping into a food coma as the day passes… who doesn’t like that?

International, chinese, breakfast, japanese, ice-cream and even durian buffets are all the rage right now. Here we bring to you, a specially curated list of the best hotel buffets to not miss making sure you get all the bang for your buck and not waste unnecessary calories on lacklustre food. 

1. Durian Buffet at Goodwood Park Hotel

Singapore’s national fruit is an acquired taste; you either love it or hate it for it’s pungent smell. For durian aficionados, be glad to know that Goodwood Park hotel holds an annual Durian Fiesta featuring a range of handmade durian crafted desserts for purchase from 16 March to 2 August 2015 at the hotel’s Deli.

From 30 May to 2 August 2015, Coffee Lounge will also be serving its much anticipated Dessert buffet with their signature durian pastries during lunch and dinner.

2. International Seafood Buffet at The Line

Many of you won’t be a stranger to this much raved about place in Singapore’s buffet industry. The Line is popular amongst diners for its HUGE array of food from all over the world, including it’s impressive dessert line which can practically be a dessert buffet by itself.

Lunch Buffet: Monday to Friday: $58++ (adult), $29++ (child)
Saturday & Public Holidays: $68++ (adult), $34++ (child)

3. Super Photogenic Buffet At Lime

The highlight of the buffet at Lime is definitely the matcha chocolate fondue situated right at the front of the buffet line. Instagrammers, whip out your phones and prepare to make your followers jealous with the super photogenic dessert spread. The international buffet here boasts a large variety of food and even live stations which serve up hot, fresh food in tasting portions.

Heads up ardent seafood lovers! Stuff yourself silly here with a lavish seafood spread from lobsters, prawns, oysters, crabs and scallops on ice. Be spoiled for choice with not one but 3 dessert stations and chocolate fondues in three different types of chocolate – white, dark and milk. What makes this place better, is that it is halal certified so our malay friends can join in the gastronomic experience brought to you by Carousel!

You definitely need to book a few weeks in advance though – the last 3 times we tried to book 1 one week in advance, we were told it was fully booked.

Treat yourself to an indulgent buffet that is cheese, chocolate and wine. PLUS, a mesmerizing view of Singapore’s beautiful nightscape while noshing on over 40 handcrafted desserts, 12 varieties of European cheese and the world’s most exotic coffee.

6.  Seven Open Kitchens At Edge @ Pan Pacific Singapore

If you’re one who likes variety / have a huge appetite, you would definitely like Edge @ Pan Pacific Singapore. Edge has a really expansive buffet spread featuring many live cooking stations providing a feast for the senses. The types of food include Singaporean, Chinese, Malay, Indian, Thai, Japanese and Pan Pacific’s signature “Pacific Cuisine”. Winner of 2014 RAS Epicurean Star Awards ‘Best Buffet’, their signatures include their Tandoori meats, Satay and Chinese Dim Sum.

1. Hooked at Edge – Wednesday/Thursday 6.30pm – 10.30pm

Rather than the usual humongous spread of food in hotel buffets, The Dining Room features a modest variety but of superior quality. Best for the people who value quality over quantity. Enjoy endless rounds of your favourites out of the spread as you take in the breathtaking ambience attributed to the floor to ceiling glass panes facing a scenic waterfall.

8.  High Tea Barbecue Buffet @  Café Brio’s

Every Saturday from 2-5pm, diners who enjoy barbecue are in for a treat as a variety of ingredients are prepared live, a la minute on the open charcoal-fired grill. Pair your BBQ dishes with favorites like nasi lemak, baked prawn with mango in filo pastry, freshly made handroll, california maki, dim sum and many more.

9. High Tea Buffet @ L’Espresso

Enjoy an afternoon with English tea treats like dainty sandwiches, salads, savouries, pastries, desserts, the all time favourite chocolate fountain and definitely not missing out English scones. Lounge amongst the air of sophistication in comfy leather sofas and floor to ceiling glass windows which provide a beautiful view of the hotel’s pool.

10.  Chocolate Rhapsody @ The Landing Point

The Landing Point used to serve their traditional Chocolate buffet but not any more. Fret not for they have replaced it with their new promotion which is “The Landing Point’s Chocolate Rhapsody”. It is served 3 tier style inclusive of coffees and teas. Available every Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm – 11pm, the items in the 3 tiers are refillable as per request. Offered are treats like Fullerton’s Signature Chocolate Manjari Cake, Salted Caramel Tartlet and a trio of Chocolate-dipped Madeline.
