We’re already halfway through the year, which means it’s time to prepare for our favourite season. No, not your mid-year performance review season – we’re talking about Halloween Horror Nights (HHN).
Yes, we know, HHN14 only kicks off in September – but Super Early Bird tickets are already out. And if there’s one thing scarier than a haunted house, it’s realising ticket prices have gone up because you waited too long. This year, Universal Studios Singapore’s iconic scare event returns with haunted houses, scare zones, and live entertainment inspired by Asian folklore, urban legends, and twisted takes on familiar Singapore icons.
Here’s what to know before you gather your bravest friends or the ones easiest to sacrifice in a scare zone.
Halloween Horror Nights 14 runs from 25th September to 1st November 2026 on select nights.
HHN14 will take place at Universal Studios Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa.
The Karang Guni man is a big part of many Singaporeans’ childhoods. And this year, the iconic “karang guniii” tune might just turn into your biggest nightmare. HHN14 will feature 4 haunted houses in total, each with its own twisted storyline.

The main Singapore-inspired highlight is Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection, which takes a familiar neighbourhood figure and gives him a sinister upgrade. In this version, the karang guni man has spent years collecting discarded items that carry the misfortune and lingering spirits of their previous owners.
If you dare, step into his cramped shophouse filled with cursed clutter, where the objects have begun to consume him – and where some things were clearly thrown away for a reason.

Another standout is Singapore’s Most Haunted: ON AIR, set in an abandoned broadcast studio where reenactments of Singapore’s darkest legends play on an endless loop. As you move through the eerie set, you’ll encounter trapped souls and unsettling scenes that blur the line between viewer and participant – because in this studio, you might just become part of the broadcast.

The final 2 houses, Made in Hell: XinLing Robotics and Chatterbox Charlie’s Vaudeville Horrors, bring sci-fi and twisted carnival horror together. One takes place in a bioengineering facility harvesting human lifeforce for artificial immortality, filled with malfunctioning machines and desperate victims, while the other follows Chatterbox Charlie and his dummy Junior as they turn their victims into grotesque versions of themselves in a revenge-fuelled nightmare.

The scares won’t stop once you make it out of the haunted houses. HHN14 will also have 2 immersive scare zones this year, so don’t get too comfortable just because you’re back out in the open.
First up is The Raveyard, a neon-drenched afterlife rave filled with undead partygoers and eerie tunes. Think Zouk, but with fewer overpriced drinks and more ghosts. No, not ghosts of your Tinder matches past, literal hantus.

Then there’s Necropolis: The Serpent’s Crossroads, a shadowy realm ruled by the serpent king. Every bargain here comes with a price, so remember to read the T&Cs before agreeing to anything in the dark.

Here’s your cue to start rallying the group chat – because Super Early Bird tickets are now available from $58, down from the usual price of $78. These tickets are available in limited quantities until 22nd July, so it’s probably best not to sit on them until everyone in the group chat has replied “anything also can”. We all know how that ends.
Each Super Early Bird ticket also comes with a complimentary Kia Si Antidote, a 140ml juice drink that apparently “gives you courage to face whatever’s waiting in the dark”, according to the HHN14 website. Whether it actually works on the friend who screams even before entering the haunted house is another matter. But hey, hydration is hydration.
Yes, there are Express Pass add-ons if you’d rather spend more time screaming and less time queuing. The Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass ($89/pax) lets guests skip the regular queues at all haunted houses once. There’s also another option at $119/pax that lets guests skip the queues once at all haunted houses, plus participating rides and shows.

Just make sure you buy an actual HHN14 admission ticket too, as Express Passes are add-ons and sold separately. Showing up with only an Express Pass would be a very specific kind of horror.
You don’t need one to enter HHN14, but it may be useful if you want to clear the haunted houses faster. Admission tickets and Express Passes are sold separately.
The event is designed for older teens and adults, with intense scares and horror themes. If you’re planning to bring younger kids, it’s best to check the official advisory before booking tickets.
If you’re the type who willingly pays to be chased, screamed at, and emotionally humbled in public, HHN14 is worth locking in early. It’s also part of Resorts World Sentosa’s wider Festival of Thrills, happening from 1st September to 1st November 2026. For the less horror-inclined folks in your group chat, there’ll be other Halloween-themed events across the resort too.
Admission: Super Early Bird – $58 | U.P. $78
