Halloween Horror Nights 2024 Is Back At USS With K-Drama “Sweet Home” Theme

Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 2024

Something wicked this way comes. Yes, October is still 3 months away but it’s never too early to prep for Singapore’s biggest Halloween event, Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 2024.

What makes the dirty dozenth Halloween Horror Nights scarier than ever before, you ask? Universal Studios Singapore is collaborating with Netflix for the 3rd time to bring us a Sweet Home exhibit, the monstrous K-drama horror that infected the streaming platform in 2021.

What to know about “Sweet Home” before HHN 2024

For the unacquainted, Sweet Home is a Netflix horror K-drama following a group of people in an abandoned apartment complex called Green Home, fending off monsters and trying not to get turned into one. It’s gory and gripping, with Parasite-level plot twists that will keep you hooked.

The show’s main pull with audiences is the fact that under all the blood and guts, there’s a lot of heart. The characters, including the monsters, are relatable and written realistically, so after you turn pale with fear, you revert into a ball of tears.

Spoiler Alert! Finish the first 2 seasons before watching this trailer for Season 3.

The critically acclaimed show has gone on for 2 seasons, with the latest season releasing on 19th July 2024. This means there’s still time to catch up on it by watching the first 2 seasons of Sweet Home on Netflix.

We can’t wait to see which monsters will be featured and whether they’ll make us scream louder than the Halloween Horror Nights 2023: All Of Us Are Dead exhibit. Some of the main beasts that we’d like to make us tremble are the Tongue Monster – with a slithery long tongue and gaping mouth, and the Steroid Monster – a goliath that’ll make all the gym bros shudder.

Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights 2024 go on sale 13th August

Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 2024 will take place on 18 selected nights from 27th September to 2nd November. Mark your calendars for 13th August 2024 when tickets go on sale online.

Aside from the Sweet Home Exhibit, we’re also excited to see what else this year’s instalment has to offer. We’re expecting performances and other scare zones bigger than before, as well as more dreadfully delicious special menu items.
