When it comes to things to do in Singapore, it’s no surprise that food is often included in the list. Hawker centres are a great place to start, if you’re looking for a wide selection of local food. But for an international feast, you might want to try Gourmet Park.
The newly-opened food truck stop is located at Resorts World Sentosa and has 16 stalls available, including a Michelin Star winner. Here’s what we tried:

Pull up at the entrance to Universal Studios Singapore and you’ll immediately spot the food trucks that make up Gourmet Park. If you don’t, let your nose lead you – the aroma of heavy spices and sizzling meats will get you to the right spot.
Once you’re in, you’re immediately surrounded by familiar names in the local food scene. There’s Dickson Nasi Lemak, which sells the breakfast staple Malaysian-style at its flagship in Joo Chiat. The must-get is the Ayam Goreng Berempah Nasi Lemak ($14.90), where a deep-fried marinated chicken leg is served on a bed of fragrant coconut rice and a sunny-side-up egg.
Another hawker fave is Chun Noodle Bar, the spin off of Chun Feng Man Mian at Amoy Street Food Centre. Foodies who’ve been around the block will be familiar with their indulgent take on humble wanton noodles. Their Signature Char Siu Noodle ($10) uses fatty Iberico pork and is topped with salmon ikura. The other crowd pleaser is the Truffle Char Siu Noodle ($12) where the noodles are tossed in truffle oil.
It’s not just local food you’ll find at Gourmet Park. It’s an international feast with names like Kotuwa and Queic & Olivia Market in the house.
The first you might recognise as a Michelin Star Bib Gourmand winner that serves up authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. If it’s your first foray into Ceylonese food, get the Chicken or Prawn Kottu (from $16). It’s chopped up roti prata fried with a blend of heady spices.
As for Queic & Olivia Market, expect to be transported to Barcelona with their Spanish tapas (from $10) and the Bikini Barcelona ($14). The latter is a grilled toastie filled with Iberico ham, mozzarella cheese, and truffle shavings – a light bite if you’re not feeling too hungry.
2 others you’d want to make stomach space for are Blue Smoke and Lavi Taco. At Blue Smoke, smoked meats are their specialty and their Smoked Beef Brisket ($16.20) grilled over lychee-wood fire is one you’re going to want all to yourself.
Vegetarians can opt for the pulled-mushroom taco. It tasted exactly like meat!
If you do feel like sharing, then Lavi Taco has just the thing. Their loaded tacos (from $15/2 pieces; from $18/3 pieces) are generously topped with a mix of your choice of protein, guacamole, pico de gallo, and a healthy serving of fresh veggies.
They say there’s also a 2nd stomach for dessert. And trust us, you’ll want that to be true when you dine at Gourmet Park. If you’ve got room for a sweet treat, then make a beeline for Spank My Dough. Naughty as the name sounds, there’s nothing sinful about their bomboloni donuts (from $5.50) that come in flavours like Lemon Meringue, Creme Brulee, and Ferrero Rocher.
Here’s a pro tip we picked up from a guy next to us: pair your donut with a scoop of ice cream ($8) from Coolhaus. You’ll be surprised to know that the frozen treat is vegan-friendly, so yes, even your lactose intolerant friends can have more than just a bite.
There’s plenty of seating space to eat at Gourmet Park.
There really is no shortage of food to eat in Singapore, and Gourmet Park is just one more place to add to your list of never-ending places to check out. If you do go, we recommend coming with an empty stomach and plenty of friends, so you can have a sample of everything.
