This Marina Square Pop-Up Shows You How To Use Google Devices In Your HDB & Even Cook Hands-Free With Them

Food x Tech Festival at Marina Square

While some are intricately piping cupcakes or grilling their steak to medium-rare perfection, amateurs like us are left staring mournfully at our most used kitchen appliance – the toaster.

But with the #MadeByGoogle exhibition at Marina Square’s Central Atrium, anyone can master the art of cooking. From 10th to 14th July 2019, there’ll also be an aptly-themed “The Helpful Home” with a showcase of useful tech gadgets!

P.S. Read on to find out how to score free parking, $10 dining deals, and eVouchers!

Compete in the Great Google Cook-off

No one wants to flip through a cookbook nor scroll through their phone when they’re in the midst of slicing and dicing. And with Google Assistant, there’s utterly no need to – the Google Nest Hub has a nifty cooking mode you can start simply by saying “OK Google, find me a brownie recipe”.

You’ll get to see it in action at the Great Google Cook-off where you get to test your cooking skills with the new Google Nest Hub – a smart speaker with a screen and the built-in Google Assistant that gives you help at a glance. You might even win a Google Home Mini just by taking part.

But with #MadeByGoogle: The Helpful Home at Marina Square’s Central Atrium, you can first try Google products to gauge how useful they are in your everyday lives, then buy it on the spot from the event.
