Just like how Singaporeans can be split into team roasted and team steamed chicken rice, movie buffs can be split into 2 categories: blockbuster nuts and indie film heads. Now, regardless of which team you’re in, we bear great news: both worlds meet at the new Golden Village x The Projector at Cineleisure.
Film junkies can now catch everything from new Disney releases to Edward Scissorhands under one roof. Sounds good? Grab your popcorn – this opens 2nd December 2023, and a mix bag of films isn’t the only thing to expect.

3 of the 6 halls here are operated by Golden Village, with the usual Hollywood flicks. If you can’t miss the latest Marvel or Hunger Games release, you’ll be glad to hear that ticket prices are also $0.50 cheaper here compared to other GV cinemas, with prices from $10.50 on weekdays.

The other half of the halls are handled by The Projector with Cannes Film Festival hits and arthouse titles. Older folks may recognise the names of the halls – Majestic, Yangtze, and Roxy. Yup, it’s a nod towards defunct local cinemas. Prices are the same as the other Projector cinemas.

Food and films come hand in hand. While GV x TP will serve elevated cinema snacks like gourmet hotdogs and grilled sandwiches, those looking for something more substantial can also find a bar and restaurant.

The collaboration between 2 cinema giants in Singapore takes over levels 5 and 6 of Cineleisure.
