Picklers, I’m sure you know the pains of finding courts for your next game. Besides the fact that Singapore seems to have a perpetual shortage of courts, booking one can blow a hole in your wallet, especially during peak hours. Thankfully, Geneo’s ongoing REINVENTION: ALLPLAY festival has got you covered, as they’ve set up free pickleball courts for all to use.

Here’s all you need to know before heading down to sweat it out on the court with your friends.

As we speak, the REINVENTION: ALLPLAY festival is on at Geneo till 22nd November 2026. Presented in partnership with the Singapore Design Council, it’s essentially an immersive playground for folks of all ages, where design and play come together to inspire wellness, creativity, and connection.

At the centre of the celebration are 3 experiences, namely PlayLab, PlayMission, and PlayCourt. While the first 2 have plenty to offer when it comes to family-friendly activities, it is PlayCourt that will catch the attention of the sports-loving crowd. It’ll be open from 7am to 7pm daily.

It has repurposed the outdoor area at 7 Science Park Drive, which is roughly just a minute’s walk from Geneo, into an evolving playspace. Although PlayCourt has plans to integrate more experimental activations which invite visitors to rethink forms of play over the coming months, they’re opening with something familiar first: pickleball, table tennis, and basketball.

If you swing by right now, you’ll be able to dink to your heart’s content at 2 pickleball courts that are free to use for anyone, no booking required.

You don’t even have to bring your own equipment, as you’ll find 2 sets of paddles and pickleballs in baskets placed near the nets. Although play is free, be considerate and keep your sessions to 2 hours at most to give others a chance to have a go as well. BTW, these courts are provided by The Ark, which also has futsal and pickleball courts all over Singapore.

But when you’re not in the mood for pickleball, there are 4 basketball hoops right behind the courts for you to sink some threes or practice your layups. For those who can’t snag a table tennis table at MRT stations, you can head here instead as there are 2 table tennis tables set up here too. Basketballs, as well as table tennis paddles and balls are also available on-site.

If you’ve been struggling to lock down a court for your pickleball games, feel free to visit REINVENTION: ALLPLAY at Geneo to see if you can sneak in a game at their free pickleball courts. From what we’ve gathered, the spot doesn’t seem to be terribly crowded yet, so pop by with the kids over the September holidays for some fun in the sun.
