MIAT Mongolian Airlines Singapore-Ulaanbaatar flights
With the recent launches of new flights to offbeat locations taking off from the Little Red Dot, planning unconventional holidays as a Singaporean can’t be any more convenient. Just last month, Labuan Bajo and Vienna were unlocked as unique travel destinations that were made much more accessible with non-stop flights departing from our beloved Changi Airport.
If you’re also fond of taking the road less travelled, you’re in luck. Come November, travellers will be able to take direct flights from Singapore to Mongolia provided by MIAT Mongolian Airlines. Here’s all you need to know before you start putting together an itinerary for an EOY trip there.
What to know about the new Singapore-Ulaanbaatar flights?

MIAT Mongolian Airlines will be launching new direct flights from Singapore to Ulaanbaatar starting from 4th November 2025. It has been announced that there’ll be 2 flights operating weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, between Changi Airport and Chinggis Khan International Airport.
Flights leaving Singapore will depart at 7.25pm and land in Ulaanbaatar at 2.55am, while those bound for Singapore will take off from the Mongolian capital at 10.35am and arrive in Singapore at 6pm. Travellers will be looking at a flight time of around 7.5 hours, with tickets for economy class seats costing under S$400.

Currently, the only ways to get from Singapore to Ulaanbaatar via flight include layovers in cities like Beijing, Seoul, and Hong Kong, and will take you roughly around 12 hours of travel time and cost at least S$1,000.

Although Mongolia’s not the most popular holiday hotspot out there, we’re definitely not complaining about Mongolian Airlines’ new direct flights to take us there fuss-free.
