Let’s face it – every minute of your holiday counts, especially when it means burning through your precious ALs. And if you’ve travelled enough, you’ll know one universal truth: direct flights are superior. No layovers, no awkward airport naps, no sprinting through terminals to catch your connection. Just get on the plane, snooze through the in-flight movies, and land right where you need to be.
Thankfully, we’ve got new options from Changi Airport – aka the best airport in the world, as certified by Skytrax. From scenic Aussie towns to underrated Chinese cities, there are now plenty of new direct flights from Singapore to explore in 2025. Add these routes to your travel wishlist – your next dream destination might be just one boarding pass away.

Here’s good news if Seoul is calling your name – Jeju Air is launching a brand new direct flight from Singapore to Seoul, starting 25th July 2025. While you’ve already got options like Scoot and T’way Air flying this popular route, Jeju Air is now joining the fray with wallet-friendly fares and solid baggage perks.

The budget airline is offering one-way fares from just $245. Under Jeju Air’s Flybag category, you’ll get a 10kg cabin bag allowance and 15kg checked baggage. Not bad at all, considering all the extra shopping weight from your skincare hauls and K-pop merch.
Bonus: Jeju Air also has the only direct flight to Busan from SG, so you can mix city life with coastal views in one trip.

If you’re looking to switch it up from popular Vietnamese destinations like Hanoi or Da Nang, Phu Quoc should be next on your list. Often dubbed the “Maldives of Southeast Asia”, this underrated Vietnamese island has everything – crystal-clear waters, night markets, seafood for days, and even massive theme parks.
Getting there is now easier too, thanks to VietJet Air’s new direct flights from Singapore to Phu Quoc that will start on 30th May 2025. The low-cost airline will operate 4 times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays – with a travel time of just 1 hour 45 minutes on an Airbus A320. Prices start from $180 for a one-way flight.

Labuan Bajo has long been on the bucket list of scuba divers, hiking buffs, and anyone who’s ever typed “Komodo Island” into Pinterest. After all, it’s your launchpad into Komodo National Park, home to Jurassic Park-level views, vibrant coral reefs, and the famous Komodo dragons themselves.
It used to take twice the time to get there from Singapore, with awkward stopovers in Bali or Jakarta. But now, Jetstar’s launched the first-ever direct flights from Singapore to Labuan Bajo. Suddenly, your dream island escape just got way more accessible.

The new route kicked off in March 2025, and takes just slightly over 3 hours. Flights depart twice a week – Thursdays and Sundays at 2.10pm, landing in Labuan Bajo at 5.20pm. Return flights are also on Thursdays and Sundays, getting you back to SG by 9.10pm.
With round trips going for as low as $144, it’s time to live your best soft life: think pink beaches, cave swims, Padar Island hikes, and dramatic standoffs with ancient dragons – at a respectful distance, of course.

If Europe’s been calling your name but your wallet’s been ghosting the convo, here’s good news: Scoot now flies direct from Singapore to Vienna. Plus, it’s officially the first and only budget carrier to do so. That means you can finally live out your “Euro summer” even if you’re on a budget – because one-way flights start from $309.
13 hours in economy might sound like a test of endurance for some, but ScootPlus makes it bearable with extra legroom, baggage, and meals – from just $659 one-way. Not bad for waking up in Singapore and ending up in a city full of palaces and schnitzels.

Flights operate 3 times a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. They depart Changi at 3am and land in Vienna at 10.10am. Return flights leave Vienna at 11.25am and get you back to SG by 4.50am.
Once you’ve landed, don’t miss iconic sights like the Vienna State Opera and Belvedere Palace, home to Klimt’s The Kiss and enough Baroque realness to flood your IG with content for days.
Mention “Western Australia” and most Singaporeans will immediately think of Perth. But if you’re looking to explore beyond the usual, Broome is the underrated gem that deserves a spot on your radar. Located in the northern part of WA, this laidback coastal town is known for sunset camel rides, pearl farms, trike tours, and beaches that glow gold under the sun.

China’s a big one on the travel list for many Singaporeans, with many direct flights from Singapore. If you’re looking to go beyond the usual cities like Shanghai or Beijing, Wenzhou is now just one flight away. Located in southeastern Zhejiang, this port city is known for its rich cultural roots and dramatic natural scenery – including the striking Yandang Mountains, which look like something out of a Chinese ink painting.
Thanks to Shanghai Xihao Aviation Service, Wenzhou has joined the list of China cities accessible via direct flight from Terminal 4 since December last year. The thrice-weekly route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays is operated by Loong Air’s Airbus A320.

Flights depart Wenzhou at 10.40am and land in Singapore at 3.55pm. The return leg leaves Singapore at 5pm and gets you to Wenzhou just in time for a late supper at 10pm. It’s perfect if you’ve been meaning to explore a lesser-known slice of China without any layovers.
If you’re planning a trip during the next long weekend holiday or trying to use up some AL, why not consider one of these new direct flights from Singapore? With less time doing layovers, you’ll get to enjoy your destination a little bit more.
