Dig Dig Land, a construction-themed playground for kids
Parents, your kids will DIG this: an outdoor playground that simulates a construction site, allowing them to get up close and personal with these mysterious machines. At Dig Dig Land, little ones will try their hand at controlling mini-machines like digging with the excavators, picking up bricks with the cranes, or role-playing with a collection of construction tools.
Located just opposite the iconic malls IMM and Jem, Dig Dig Land offers the perfect opportunity to let your children’s imaginations run wild and play pretend, guaranteeing a fun day out for everyone.
Experience a “construction site” in a safe environment

A child’s curiosity knows no bounds, and should not be limited just because they are interested in adult professions things like heavy machinery or construction. Dig Dig Land has successfully built a safe and immersive experience for the little ones to explore their curiosities to their satisfaction. This is done by scaling down the tools and machines often found at construction sites.
The highlight of Dig Dig Land is the ability to control construction machines, like excavators and cranes, which are rarely found at usual kids’ playgrounds. Both of these activities offer 10 minutes of uninterrupted playtime controlling these machines. Simply re-queue and wait your turn for another try during the allocated time slot.
7 different zones to indulge in imaginative play

Dig Dig Land is broken down into 7 different zones, each targeting a specific area of a child’s development. With fun as the priority, children can have the best of both worlds by learning different skills whilst enjoying themselves.
The Excavator and Skyline Crane Zones focus on motor skills and building hand-eye coordination. At the excavator zone, children will have the opportunity to maneuver the excavator to dig up sand piles, transport sand, and enjoy the feeling of operating the machine.

At the Skyline Crane Zone, children operate a crane and attempt to pick up a variety of objects like bricks or balls, simulating a giant claw game. You could even try to stack the items and see how high you could go, for those who want more of a challenge.
The Builders and Sand Adventures zones target social and cognitive development. The RC Builders Zone boasts a collection of realistic but kid-friendly construction tools like a hammer drill, saws, and other hand tools – all without any sharp blades or edges, of course. Sometimes, the simplest things like imaginative play can be the most beneficial for the kiddos as they learn how to become more confident in themselves.

The immersion goes even further than simply wielding these tools as children can wear full construction gear too; neon vests, helmets, we’re talking the whole shebang for them to really get into character.

Children who are intimidated by the big excavator machines will find the Sand Adventures Zone appealing due to the miniature ride-on construction machines like tipper trucks and forklifts which they can use to traverse the area. Toddlers of the family will also have a whale of time at digging and exploring at the sand pit.
Family-focused bonding
Dig Dig Land focuses on families. This means that families will have a satisfying and enjoyable experience, no matter the age. Parents can immortalise this special day however they’d like, and however many because pictures and videos are not only allowed, but encouraged.
Adults can also participate in controlling the machines or trying their hand at remote-controlled construction machines. Learning these controls is an educational experience, even for the grown-ups.
What happens if it rains?
Lastly, since the experience is an outdoor one, it could be a cause for concern in the case of bad weather. During a drizzle, you can buy raincoats at Dig Dig Land so playtime is not disturbed.

In other cases, Dig Dig Land has a comprehensive rescheduling policy. In the case of heavy rain or lightning mid-play, activities are stopped and a $10 rebate is given for the next experience for those who have participated for more than 30 minutes in their allocated time slot. Rescheduling for another day or a later time slot is allowed for those who participated for less than 30 minutes.
Pre-experience rescheduling is also possible up to 1 hour before the booked slot, giving peace of mind to those who are experiencing last-minute disruptions.
