Under the Les Amis Group of restaurants, La Strada is located in the heart of town at Shaw Centre. This Italian trattoria has a rustic yet elegant interior, decorated with Tuscan wood panelling and furniture.
Classy yet inviting, La Strada is known for their stellar range of fine Italian wines that complement chef’s favorites like Ossobuco Alla Milanese ($36++), a braised veal shank with saffron risotto and gremolata (a dressing made with parsley, garlic and lemon zest).

3. LeBar
The ambience at LeBar is definitely worth the trip to Sentosa. Situated within Sofitel Sentosa Resort & Spa, LeBar is surrounded by a 33 square metre pool and located in a gorgeous pavilion where you can enjoy the sunset with your date over a meal.
Sip on fragrant brewed teas and tuck into hand-crafted sandwiches and pastries here. Don’t forget to try their tapas such as the crowd-favorite Singapore Chilli Crab Cakes ($15++) with Asian vegetable slaw and homemade chilli dip. 4. Bistro du Vin
Immerse yourself in French cuisine at Bistro du Vin, where dishes are prepared from traditional recipes with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The warm lighting and intimate setting of the restaurant makes you feel like you’re at a bistro in the streets of France.

5. Alati
Alati’s ambience will appeal to all you #minimalists. The interior of the restaurant is predominantly white, with ocean blue place mats and cushions contributing to the whole nautical-themed and Santorini-inspired decor.
Food here is focused on traditional Greek favorites, such as Lavrak ($98++/kg, good for 3 pax), which is grilled seabass served with lemon and caper sauce. Self-professed carnivores can tuck into Biftekia Beef Patties ($25++) that comes with fried potatoes and roasted tomatoes.

6. Platypus Kitchen

Located at the upper floors of National Gallery and occupying a massive 9000 square feet, Aura offers an Italian fine dining experience hard to find elsewhere in Singapore. They have an extensive menu covering appetizers, pastas, set lunches, set dinners and even weekend brunch that can be paired with prosecco and Bellini cocktails.
The interior is illuminated by natural light streaming into the restaurant through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. 8. Pizza Express
Established in the UK in 1965, Pizza Express has arrived at the shores of our sunny island. And don’t be fooled by the name ‘cause they’ve got so much more than freshly made pizzas. Expect other Italian classics like pastas, salads and desserts here as well.

They have both indoor and outdoor dining spaces, with warm lights hanging from the ceiling indoors. 10. Original Sin
If your date is a vegetarian, you can bring him or her here to enjoy a sumptuous Mediterranean dinner with no meat involved. Located at Holland Village, this cosy and comfortable spot uses ethically-sourced ingredients in all their dishes.
